So - that's supposed to be part of the "Connect WiFi Plus" subscription at $17.99/month if you want to keep it. With that comes:

CONNECT WI-FI® PLUS
Enjoy advanced connectivity, control and convenience with unlimited Wi-Fi® data.
• Unlimited Data and Wi-Fi® Hotspot for Up to Eight Devices (1)
• Advanced Remote Vehicle Operations (2)
• Vehicle Theft Alert (3)
• Drive Alerts for Speed, Location, and Time (4)
• TomTom Navigation (5)
• Built-In Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant (6)

(1) I have an unlimited hotspot on my phone.
(2) WHAT IS THIS?
(3) Nice to have, but GPS trackers are way inexpensive.
(4) My insurance company monitors with an app on my phone.
(5) My vehicle doesn't have navigation.
(6) I use Siri, not Alexa.

So ... before I pay about $18 a month, what would I be getting that isn't already included in my free 10 year subscription to Connect One?

CONNECT ONE
Convenient access to essential features included at no extra cost, for 10 years.
• Remote Lock and Unlock Via the App
• Vehicle Health Reports, Alerts and Service Scheduling
• Automatic SOS Calls
• Over-the-Air Software Updates
• Jeep® Digital Key for Smartphone-Based Access on Select Models or Where Available
• EV Charging Controls and Management Tools
• In-Vehicle AppMarket Featuring Games and More
• Basic Navigation
• Emergency Vehicle Alert System

Seems nobody at Jeep customer support or brand support can or will answer this question. Any of you folks here able to tell me? And why can't I purchase my own WiFi service from AT&T as I've been able to do in the past (and do for my other vehicles) for less than $10 a month? This whole deal seems pretty sketchy to me.

I want to know what "Advanced Remote Vehicle Operations" means - they seem to think it's important enough to list separately - so I can make an informed decision on whether I want it or not. Do you have an answer to the question(s) asked?

The primary difference between Connect ONE and Advanced Remote Vehicle Operations is that one is a free "essentials" tier, while the other is a premium upgrade that adds more granular control over your vehicle.

Gemini says,

### **Connect ONE (The Standard Tier)**
This is included with your vehicle for **10 years** at no extra cost. It focuses on safety and basic remote access.
* **Remote Lock/Unlock:** You can lock or unlock your doors via the Jeep app.
* **Safety & Security:** Includes SOS calling and Assist calls for roadside help.
* **Vehicle Health:** Monthly vehicle health reports and alerts for maintenance needs.
* **OTA Updates:** Allows the vehicle to receive software updates over the air.
* **Digital Key:** Smartphone-based access (on compatible models).

### **Advanced Remote Vehicle Operations (The Premium Tier)**
This is part of the **Connect Wi-Fi PLUS** subscription (roughly $17.99/month after a 3-month trial). It expands on "Basic" remote operations with "Advanced" features:
* **Remote Start:** This is the big one—it allows you to start the engine via the app (if your vehicle is equipped with a factory remote start).
* **Climate Control:** You can set the cabin temperature or turn on the defroster before you get in.
* **Vehicle Finder:** See your vehicle’s exact GPS location on a map and get walking directions to it.
* **Horn & Lights:** Remotely trigger the horn and lights to find your Jeep in a crowded lot.
* **Drive Alerts:** Set geofences, speed limits, and curfews (useful if someone else is driving your vehicle).

Thanks! This is the best information I've seen to date and now I'm pretty sure I don't need it ... at least not for the price they're asking. If they'd have a "WiFi Only" package for half the price I might be interested since that's about what I was paying AT&T for WiFi on my old Gladiator, Durango, and Challenger. Seems they've locked that possibility out now, sadly enough.
