Do not settle for without then. My JL did not have it, my JT does. I will not go back to regular lol.

I designed the steering wheel switches in the JL and JT at my previous company. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the JL and JT came with it from initial release. These salesmen go in and out of dealerships constantly and the dealers don't train them on features, when they should be knowledgeable on all of the features and availability of said features.
More knowledgeable or at least willing to admit when they’re dead wrong. The absolute lack of interest in investigating my concern is what has really soured me. I’ve poured days worth of hours into researching what midsize truck to buy and for this guy to tell me on the phone to “do my research” sent me.

If that happened to me on something I ordered, I would walk away on delivery day.
Gladiators are not unique, I'm sure there is one sitting on a lot somewhere with all the options and boxes ticked. Even if its a 4hr drive, it's worth it to get what you want.

I agree completely. In our case the salesperson told us our vehicle didn't have those options and the price was reduced.
If that's the case I would consider that a dealer to return to.

Considering you ordered the truck anyway, I assume you have time to wait to buy it. With the way that guy talked to you, I personally would tell him to pound sand.
Might as well check other dealers and see whats on the lot.

If you're willing to drive to GA, I've got one hell of a salesman for you lol. I've bought 8 cars from the same salesman at the same dealer, that's how good they are.

Read something similar on this Forum. Of course it is easier for sales to hope you're uninformed and try and pull one over on you. Someone else ordering a Gladiator fully loaded with the package and when he got confirmation it did not have the acc on the build sheet. I think telling Jeep is a good step, but it seems in current times they get away with everything

Call and speak with the dealership General Manager directly. Then you can forward the texts that the salesperson sent you. It is clearly incorrect info. I understand that another dealership may not be in your local area, but really consider a different one. It may be well worth it. Good luck.

You’re assuming the salesman is an idiot. He’s probably just trying to convince you to settle and take a vehicle without ACC because the delivery time is shorter (hurry up and get commission). You’re assuming the manager didn’t tell him to do that.

I was employed at dealerships for thirty years. The GM is the one you want to speak to. The sales manager may just back up the salesperson.
