I have the bushwacker trail armor and it does not use screws to mount it but rather 2 strips of 3m tape. Just make sure to prep it correctly and after I installed it I used a heat gun to heat the tape. 6 months of interstate driving and it has not budged. Just a thought!

A washer with a rubber cushion is probably your best bet.......I won't insult your intelligence with the over torquing shit

Hey All,

Having deflector problems and need help. I've went through 4 Mopar (Jeep) deflectors and 1 Weathertech. Since the first of October, I've been through 2 Mopar and the Weathertech. I installed the Weathertech one as the instructions said and also the way a YouTube video showed. The mounting bases keep spider-webbing on me. I've tried metal spacers, flex-tape for a re-enforcement and the metal spacers on top and they still crack. Photos of the Weathertech attached.

Anybody running something that's not acrylic like those 2 deflectors? Are there any out there that are more of a hard rubber nature. Like the way they cleanup the front of the truck. Appreciate the help.

Thanks, Steve
I bought a deflector for my Alaska trip, lost so much fuel mileage , took it off and carried in the back for a 5 week trip
