We decided that if the AEV 2.5" RT lift comes on sale this season that we'll pick it up for our White JTR. Specifically model N0922100AA. If you know why this wouldn't be good for a mostly daily driver rig, let us know. Also, if you see it on sale, be sure to shout it out ?

Thank you

We've had this Rugged Ridge hood protector sitting around awhile. It was time to get it on there to help minimize damage to the leading edge of the hood. In Alaska they throw gravel versus salt ?

I have been wanting to get one of these for my truck. Let me know how it does please?

n closed/delayed. The part is sitting in CA.

However, that doesn't mean I can't get started
Nice install of the switch. I have been thinking of where to put mine as well, that's a good clean idea!

I have been nothing but happy with mine. Currently riding on the SD springs, but probably need to jump up to the HD springs. Paired it up with steer smarts front and rear track bar (standard ones which keep the factory style clevite bushings) and sector shaft brace (without the bearing), plus teraflex rear geo correction brackets. Zero vibration/noise of any kind on highway. Stellar performance even while being over the capacity of the standard springs.

This is great to hear. Sounds like SD springs are right for this Jeep then. Haven't looked into rear geo brackets. Do you run those and the driveshaft drop spacers?

Yes sure do. The rear geo brackets from teraflex are not 'necessary'. But if you look at other 2-2.5" lifts when the rear axle is cycling through its range of motion it does help keep angles closer to factory spec's.

I think you already saw those though. Oh and the extended brake lines are not needed. I haven't personally been able to fully flex and check them to see what they look like but the shop that did the install is the best around and they do a lot of technical custom work so I trust them.

Oh and also, I recommend adding the teraflex progressive bump stops. They really make a huge difference you can actually feel. hitting the bump stops is not harsh hat all compared to factory, and by adding them (which I think are 1.5" longer than stock) on top of the bump stop extensions in the AEV kit, it more or less makes them like a poor man's hydro-stop. They are fantastic for the price.

Been curious how that solar system on sliders is holding up? Is dust starting to affect the sliders? Also wondering how it's going to hold up during winter. I love that set up. Need a full write up on build out of those sliders. Thinking about doing the same. But on top of my camper.

They're excellent so far. Couple weekends ago I unbolted one side to put down some foam between the wiring and the roof in a couple places that were tapping on bumps. Everything is as good as the day it went on and no cracked panels after all the running around we did - even the Dalton Hwy. I will also be excited to see how the whole setup does this winter, too. If it makes it through, this seems to be a good option for ppl.

What details would help you get your build going? Happy to help.

I've got 4 panels same thing Renogy. I like the slides. Just worried about muck and dust and winter ruining them. I was thinking about a similar setup using rollers on an anodized track. With some sort of locking mechanism. Thoughts? Any other pics or the build process would be helpful.

Eeevaa, the white JTR is currently getting a lighting upgrade. I've got the pillar lights done. Got the chase lights almost wrapped up. I'll be putting in the bed lighting next. The fog lights will have to wait until a bumper shows up ? The wife decided on a bumper, so that's exciting. Will be about a month before it gets here.

Also the exhaust piece that we needed for the LRA aux tank is at the shop and hour away. I'll need to try to get there despite the snow to pick it up.

I like the sound of this! The sliders could def gunk up over time, there's no doubt. I haven't greased them or done anything special. I'd think a rinse, compressed air, and a little white lithium wouldn't hurt once a qrtr.

The roller setup would likely be less susceptible to gunking up. It would need to be wider, do you have space limitations? I like the lock setup on the RSI Smartcap table. It just has pins that extend out to lock. You flip a lever and it sucks them in which allows the table to drop, or in your case, the panel to roll forward.
