You put Core 4x4 in the same class as Steer Smarts, Apex, and Rock Jock?
I added them as far as a choice. Core 4X4 is not in the same class as far as name brand but they have good upper tier selections. Steer smarts is just now getting into that upper tier as they have proven themselves the 6 to 8 years only. It takes brands 20 to 30 years to really get a top tier name. Same for ICON. Look at synergy they are now considered top tier because they proved themselves. A few years back you still had many people who doesnt know them. Even the great curie industry's needed time to make a name. Apex is still considered very new however they make great products. I would not be scared to get CORE 4X4 products. They also have great consutmer service unlike some.

Yeah, I’m sure there’s some subjectivity.

I’ve been speaking with a couple of guys who own mod shops and they both said they take out more products from Synergy and TeraFlex than anything else.
They swear by Steer Smarts. Steer Smarts admits they’re new to the aftermarket game, but they’ve been making parts for decades.

the upper tiers, Crawl and Weekend maybe, are the only lines I’d consider. They also have a great warranty.

wish there were some ranking for this stuff.

So it can take the beating on the trails and deliver on the road as a daily driver even with the crawl series. Good to know.
Yep.

I do too my friend lol i do too! Steer smarts is ultimate heavy duty and you cannot go wrong with their stuff. I hear now from my friend Gator_overlander on youtube that they will release lift kits for Jeep gladiators. I seen some people here on the forum say they are not crazy about the griffin tech that comes on a version of their products. Also seen some who say that it will rust, etc. So yeah it is subjective. I am considering but their rear sway bar, Heavy duty.. Synergy has great reputations and for those who want a 1 stop shop you cannot beat them to be honest. I considered them upper tier and believe you will be ok.. I would def like to see more people exprerience with the a newer brand called RSO, they have some good looking products and are building a full eco-system of products. Same for ICON dynamic. Would love to hear more about them

I did a full swap with Teraflex parts; HD Tie Rod, HD Drag Link, and HD Trackbar
You switched from TeraFlex to HD? Or you switched TO TeraFlex from something else? Can you clarify? Reasons you switched?

Most of the aluminum steering is just round stock drilled and shipped with apex chassis ends on it. Very few actually source different tie rod ends as the apec chassis ones are excellent.

Cavfab has great prices on aluminum if you are looking to go that way. I had Steer smarts they were great but they caused a lot of interference with their pinch clamps so I moved to rom steering (apex chassis ends)

OEM parts to Teraflex.

Teraflex has a line of products that they label "HD" Heavy Duty.

This lines up somewhat with what my Jeep guy said: Steer Smarts for the drags andd track bar but Falcon Nexus (Teraflex) for the stabilizer. Add the Mopar adjustable LCA and it's a very solid platform for a daily driver with no lift that gets weekend warrior duty.

I check the bolts regularly and not a single one has backed off the marks he made when he installed it. It's been around 9K miles since I did it and zero complaints.

Meant to write "extended," not adjustable. Not enough coffee this morning- yet. It's longer than OEM and thicker. They should be stock on these things, especially since they're under $60 for each but... it's a Jeep thing.

I had a long conversation with Core 4x4 on Friday. They have a lifetime warranty, use Apex ends, and are Johnny Joints, so that sounds comforting.

Core 4x4 upper tier stuff is great since they use top quality ends like many other manufacturers do. I've heard less great things about the poly bushings, but I believe that's because people confuse poly bushings with the stock clevite rubber bushings which they are not.
