Was it my imagination or did someone remove the third brake like and add a light bar type chase light back there ? We get normal rain but there are time it gets so dusty on the trail you might as well put a blindfold on and wanting to make sure I keep my chase light on the cap
Here is a pic of the third tail light on mine, had it now about two months and not sure what the older ones looked like.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't do that, its a great idea. I was going to mount it to the rack but it will be a cleaner look right on the cap.

The only one I've seen is Asheville Vehicle Outfitters do a Baja Design chase light.

Has anyone mounted another companies awning to their gen 3, 3.1, or 3r using the alucab mounting brackets ? Just trying to decide if I really want shell the money for the shadow awning or find a way to make our ovs 270 from our previous rack work
Not sure if this answers your question but I have an OVS 270 awning with OVS brackets and it’s mounted up fine IMO

Here she is. They had to change me to the mid feet because they added a cable gland to my cap and wired the tent directly to my redarc redvision. But it turned out great

Looks great!! Honestly the extra space from the mid-feet is a blessing. It so hard to clean under the tent with the low feet. Definitely have enough room to fab up a bracket for that chase light you want or add the alucab table

I've been meaning to contact AVO about putting a frankenstein lift kit together... always nice to work with them

That’s what they were saying was to add the table if I wanted to. Not sure if I will though yet. The only issue with the mid feet is I’m 6’2 with long arms and I still can’t open the tent from the ground. So it’s a climb on the tailgate to open it lol. My wife said well guess I’m not taking the jeep solo. She is 5’7 and can’t reach the strap to close it when it’s open lol. Maybe I should get shorter springs

After much research on this thread and several phone calls to Front Runner, Alu-Cab, and Rhino-Rack. I finally decided to go with the Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 Platform. Both Rhino-Rack and Alu-Cab said they have not tested a fitment between their two products but in theory it should work. Neither would tell me more than that. So after some research on both Alu-Cab and Rhino-Racks websites I came up with an order and this is the result. I'm very happy to say that everything fit together perfectly without a single problem. The Pioneer 6 tray is amazing. I had a Pioneer 5 on my JKU several years ago, and this one is a lot cleaner looking and makes no noise that I can hear as of yet. Looks to have a lot more mounting options. Looking forward to getting out and trying a camping trip before winter hits. Rain was hitting me on and off during this install. Didn't want to dig out my Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning to test it out today. Another day perhaps.

Here is the list of parts I ordered, and from where.

Rhino Rack Pioneer 6 Platform 59in x 56in Part# RRU62113F ........ Northridge4x4 had them on sale for Labor Day weekend. Saved almost $200 off the original price. I thought about going with their 71" long version to overlap the cab of my Jeep some, but decided against it. Wasn't sold on the weight distribution or lack there of on that section or what it would look like.

Alu-Cab Standard Profile Load Bar Mounting Feet Part# ALULB-FEET-STHP Qty: 2 ....... Ok4WD. Not sure if I could have done it with one set, but the platform I bought had 3 mounting points on each side so I figured better safer than sorry. Each set comes with 4 feet, so I just have a spare set now.

Rhino-Rack M8x16.5MM Stainless Steel Rectangular T-Bolt (4-Pack) Part# B222-BP Qty: 2...... Ordered directly through Rhino-Rack USA's website. These took the most research. Looked through several of the instructions online on how their racks all fit together and this T-Bolt was how many of the feet mounted to the platforms. I took a shot in the dark, and they fit perfect. I didn't need any other hardware to mount this to the platform or canopy because the hardware that came in the Alu-Cab feet were the same M8 nuts. I just used the extra lock nuts and washers I had in that kit to bolt this up. All were stainless steel.

All in all, it went pretty smooth. The Alu-Cab feet mounted perfectly well to the bottom of the Rhino-Rack Platform with those T-Bolts. Glad all the hardware interchanged and worked too, less I had to buy. Hardest part was once I had the Platform put together getting it on top of the canopy and lined up with all the feet. Key thing to note was that I loosely mounted the feet to the bottom of the platform before I flipped it over and stuck it up top. I didn't want to fight with those bolts upside down under the platform. I had just enough room to fit my skinny arms and hands under there to wrench it all down. A ratcheting 1/2" wrench was the winning tool in this install. Sockets would not fit in the feet at all.

So who has the 750 mm cupboard and built it out for a kitchen? I can’t justify the price for all the extra but thinking a few hours with angle aluminum, aluminum sheet, a drill some rivets, and elastic cordage I should be able to use my current setup to make it proficient. As long as I can push the cupboard all the way to one side and still access my fridge from the side

Looking to mount some QuickFists on the interior roof tracks. Anyone do this and what size hardware did you use to mount the quickFists?

I did and used M8-1.25 hex head bolts, mix of 20mm & 25mm. Worked really well. Was able to mount shovel and axe out of the way.
