Such a sad news....
apparently ( still needs to be confirmed) but according to my dealer , 2023 will be the last commercial year for the Gladiator in Belgium...

After offering only 4Xe in the wrangler line up since almost 2 years now its gladiator turn to be killed by Stellantis Importer here.

They pretends its about a Gaz emission quota .

The already lost the fight against Toyota Hill, Ford Ranger and VW Amarok due to silly homologations and prices.

Guess your loved Gladiator will becomes collector ... specially the US Specs one 😍

Curious to see what's gonna be Jeep line up in the next few years here ...

Not surprising. None of the major USA derived and made models have had a modicum of success in Europe outside of being a novelty factor.

yes true but Ford Ranger was pickup most selled in 2022 and the new one is going to folow the same track . but as you said its not USA made.

one of the biggest fails about EU Gladiator is : yowing capacities... here in Belgium they are homologated for... 2700KG ( 5900lb) when hilux Amarok and Rager are at 3500 Kgs (7700lb)

Lot of self emploee in construction cancelled their order when thet knew it couldn't tow the bobcat or mini excavator

That kind of shows the layout and differences between the North American and European markets. Vehicles designed for and built within their respective regions tend to do better than something designed for one market and then scabbed as an afterthought to sell in another market. Gladiator in North America is marketed as a lifestyle vehicle first with towing a secondary consideration, especially the Diesel model which seems to be the only official model that is sold in Europe.

yep you right ... only diesel here by the official network

some like me got the 3,6 V6 with parallel and I have also the 3,5Tons in towing so im good.

and last but not least for us poor European... the price.... when a sport Gladiator starts at 67K and an overland a 75K.... its a big step compare to a Ford Ranger around 52K for the Ranger Raptor
