This is nothing but anecdotal and I don't know if it is representative of an overall trend, but: up until recently my local CJDR dealer would have JTs, place them in a prominently visible location (in a row of three or four), and the same ones would be there for a considerable length of time (weeks and weeks, sometimes maybe even months). Now I see them show up in "ones and twos", and, a short time after (a couple of weeks or less), they're not there. I am glad that the JT exists and I hope that it sticks around, so I take this as a good sign that hopefully its sales are rising?

My dealer is down to 3. Is that faster sales or shipping new to lot issue

Saw something on the "news" that sticker prices for transportation cost on all vehicles to the dealer will be ~ double a year ago...COVID....gas prices...lack of drivers...but for a nice Mojave...worth it IMO...Safe travels and congrats

Interesting. I was at the dealership yesterday dropping off my JT to have them look at changing out the steering box. While waiting on my ride to pick me up I was looking around at the Mojave, Rubicons, etc they had on the lot (I would say I think I saw about 20 JT on the lot of various models and trims). Sales guy asked me if I was looking to buy and I said no already have mine. Asked him how the sales were going and he said they had not been moving that many of them in some time. They were moving a lot of regular Jeeps but not so many trucks. I saw my first Willy's package yesterday and it looked really nice.

Logistics is a nightmare right now and will likely remain so through the end of the year. Many things are backed up for months and every aspect of the chain prices are increasing so that means it will trickle down so yes expect cost to go up

All trucks are off the charts right now, it's not just the Gladiator. Ford dealership two days ago said I'd have to wait till end of summer if I wanted an F150 and they didn't have a single one. If you go to Ford's site right now, they have 0 incentives on any trunks, and I mean 0. No cash back, high APR on the finance, nada.

Normal = We have 137 F150s for you to choose from, here's $10,000 to help you decide and 0% APR for 60 months

They are all sitting waiting for a chip (LOL).

It's that plus some other things. Sales are legit off the charts. If you just got your Biden bucks, a down payment on a new truck becomes a thing you can do that you weren't planning (and thus neither was Ford)

It is killing me to be not ordering because I'm waiting on a color other than a shade of gray... I haven't decided yet if I'll regret it, I'm just hoping the prices don't skyrocket and they don't add any good colors.

I drive semi for work, and up until 2-3 months ago in my travels, it was very rare for me to see a Gladiator out on the road "in the wild" so to speak. Not the case any longer.

Not a day goes by recently that quite a number are seen out & about, or sitting in some lucky owner's driveway.

So yes, sales seem to be increasing.

Mine went toward a new refrigerator (LOL). Was planning on some extra upgrades to the JT but no such love with the Stimi money since the frig went kaput

Gladiators are flying off the lot in Florida. There is not a day that goes by that I don't see at least four between my house and job.

It's cool to know they're selling elsewhere. I see them on Long Island everywhere, but Long Island has always had a very high percentage of Jeeps on the road so I didn't know if it was just here.

I think anyone who's looking at buying a new vehicle, should buy it sooner than later. I wouldn't even try to order one right now. Things are looking tight in the near future here.

This is, I don't know, maybe wrong? Cars selling well means we pay literal thousands more in financing and/or lack of incentives.

I'm currently sitting on cars with little fun appeal exactly because of this. Prepared to wait to fall.
