What does V2 add in terms of durability? I purchased my V1 in the fall of 2023 after I broke a tail light, had one light go bad in 2024, you guys took care of that. The two I have are currently working, but I do have a few LEDs that are out. Nothing that is unsafe yet, but I disappointing none the less. Does the V2 version address this? I see the below, and while nice, I desire a longer term solution vs just a few years. Curious if this is integrated into the V2. Love the clean look of these. Can't really just replace bulbs as they go out. : )

That’s a totally fair question, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. That kind of feedback is exactly what drives updates like this. The V2 version does focus on improving long-term reliability, but it’s more on the internal side rather than something like replaceable bulbs or units. The biggest durability upgrades are in the electrical architecture:

• Enhanced surge protection (helps protect against voltage spikes)
• Better handling of over/under-voltage + reverse polarity
• Improved CAN-bus compatibility for newer vehicles

These changes are meant to reduce the kinds of failures that can lead to LEDs going out over time, especially on vehicles with added accessories. On top of that, we doubled the warranty from 1 year to 2 years, which reflects a lot more confidence in the updated internals.
