So I'm really wanting to run 37 inch tires on my 3.6 v6. It's an automatic and I'm wanting a good overall ride with proper clearance. What would you recommend for 37inch tires, plenty of ground clearance, and good highway on road driving and durability. I'll be overlanding when my rtt comes in and need something that won't destroy the bank. Thanks for the help and input.

At least 3.5" of lift. A decent set of shocks. New wheels or spacers. A regear to at least 4.56 (all the way up to 5.38 depending on usage) And about $500 for incidentals like a rear track bar relocation bracket or a new drag link so it drives decent.

Yeah well Def get regear shortly after lift but before the 37s. I'm torn between ready lift 4 inch and metacloak 3.5. Won't be rock crawling or extreme anything. Just getting out in some backwoods mountain trails

I don't know off the top of my head whats in the ready lift. At a minimum you need both track bars, extended sway bar links, at 3.5+ you need rear brake lines. Either adjustable front lower control arms or uppers, and brackets for the rear or adjustable rear uppers for pinion angle, or a carrier bearing spacer at minimum.

37s might fit stock wheels if you have wide axles, but plan for spacers or new wheels.

For Tires, there’s a thread on a Walmart deal for 37” Yokohama geolander X- AT’s. Heck of a tire in 35’s and great price if Walmart still has them.

Also don’t forget to potentially add longer front drive shaft. Recommended by Metal Cloak for their 3.5” lift, but I think others on here have kept stock and it seems to be fine.

You don’t need to regear for 37s with an automatic and 2.5” lift works at full flex without rubbing.
I had the AEV 2.5” coil lift, stock 4.10 gears, and ran Spidertrax wheel spacers.
I’ve wheeled difficult trails, lots of freeway miles and curvy backroads, and pull trailers including my 5,000 lb camping trailer.
I wouldn’t regear until you hit 39 or 40 inches.

I currently run 37’s (4.10 max tow, wide tracks) and am considering a regear to 4.88. I have no complaints about power with the 4.10s, my Jeep just never uses 7th or 8th gear and I feel like I might be missing out on some efficiency (mpg).
