Hello All,
Recently purchased Sport S and am preparing for hot summer fun. I purchased an Alien Sunshade set and was wondering if anyone who has installed these types of systems on their Gladiators with soft tops had any issues with leaks caused by the bungee cords fed through the windshield and/or where the soft top mechanism closes over them on the sides.
Thanks and love the Forum and my new Gladiator!

Have the same, no issues. Nothing touches any seal, or causes anything to be out of alignment.

I swear mine shows you run the front bungees through a seal between the windshield and frame??

it's a bit odd, but the seal is attached to the windshield, and it sits on top of the frame to seal the soft top or freedom panels. The bungees don't even touch it. There's no seal attached to the frame, or pushing down from the windshield onto the frame in the front.
I'm lazy so I'm not going to take my windshield down but I found a kind of decent picture that shows the windshield seal.

I'm here for the comments.... I'm probably gonna take a 'chance' and order one off Amazon - to see if it'll work (or could be modified) with 2024 & side airbags. We'll see.... If I'm not comfortable with it (impeding the airbag function), I'll return it easy peasy.

They have changed 24s and 25s to make them quieter - I've not paid attention to mine as far as how the windshield goes against the front rail of the "cage".

I didn't take any pics with any of my Jeeps with the windshield down, only that on the 22, it definitely isn't a problem. I'll have to double-check my 25!

This is my preferred brand - Spiderweb sunshade.
IF they resolve my sunrider issues, and if Spiderweb offers something that won't interfere with opening and closing the sunshade, that's what I'll go with. There's just too little info on Alien, no contact info, they only sell via amazon and so on. No info on support, nothing about them out there.

Yeah I wouldn't buy Alien at this point either. They claim a '10 year' warranty with zero way to get in contact with them even through Amazon. So in truth it's a 30 day warranty. They aren't even "sold by" Alien in Amazon. They're all sold by "Accelerator store" which just sells a ton of random junk. Good luck getting any support from them! It's too bad, because they always had good prices and I've used their products for years without any sagging or colors fading.
