That will be interesting if that ends up being the case. I know the ordering guide for the US also didn’t list Granite Crystal as late availability, however it wasn’t an available choice when the order banks opened. I hope you are right. I would love to see some Granite Crystal trucks. I think they will look amazing.

So things have changed. The dealer colour for my order was originally black. I asked him about why the Window Sticker still showed black....

My Chrysler Rep just informed me that the Granite color will be on restriction for another month or 2.

Do you want to stay with black at get one sooner or do you want me to wait a place a new order when Granite becomes available?

If so, you will get a different VIN #

Guess I am going Billet - it hides the dirt better than granite, not as mean looking but easier to keep looking clean.

Sorry to hear that. But you will be happy with billet. I flip flop on color choice every time I see a picture of a gladiator. They all look great.

Thanks.... I was 50/50 billet and granite. Granite does look meaner but the billet is just as awesome and a little more feminine in my opinion (being a girl that matters lol).

I think it was last reported on here somewhere that jeep cares is no longer offering information about orders on Gladiators

For the hell of it I chatted with FCA today for an order status acceptance update. I placed my order Friday 5/3 (Billet Rubi) with the dealer and the chat agent had a VIN for me this morning. I questioned it and it was confirmed. This was a lot sooner than expected.

Yeah I tried to get the chat person to help me, they said due to new nature of the Gladiator, they were unable to help :-/

I kept pushing my agent and she ultimately said "no vin available" so either she made it up or i dont have one. Not surprised, while i ordered on day 1, I ordered a Manual and I assume since we haven't seen any dealer allocations for MT yet they have not started planning them. If anyone else who has a MT gets a VIN let me know!

My status update said it's going into pre-production and the VIN will be assigned soon. They made it sound like it might happen today.
