My tires currently kick out about 2” past fenders on my overland. In PA it won’t pass inspection. Anyone add wider fenders to there gladiator? I know this is common in wranglers but I’m not having any luck finding any for my gladiator

I am also in PA, just passed inspection at my dealer, no questions asked. I have had these wheels and tires on my Gladiator now for about 6 months, no legal issues.

Interesting, I'm in PA too and see plenty of jeeps and trucks with tires outside the fenders, so I've wondered if they have wheels and tires to swap on for inspection or they just have a trusted shop who turns the other cheek. Anyone know what the actual law is?

I'm not exactly sure what the law is, but I have had 2 friends that had lifted 2500 Chevy's on 35x12.5s and no flares, and they were actually pulled over and given a ticket. I will say they wasted no time putting flares on after that.

Same in MA, will fail inspection if they extend beyond fenders. Doesn't it make a mess of the side of the JT when you go through mud or snow with them sticking out like that?

There is also a rule in Pennsylvania that the flares can't be wider than 3". I don't know how that pertains to a Wrangler or Gladiator, since our "flares" are pretty much the only coverage we have, and they stick out more than 3 inches from the factory, but that is the rule.

Yes it does. I work down the street from a limestone quarry, and the road gets rough with any rain. My Gladiator gets trashed at least once a week. I am currently on the hunt for good mud flaps.

Thanks!! That's one in the running, just not sure how I feel about how they look.
Not sure there are any nice looking mud flaps when you're trying to mount up to a jeep with big tires and especially not when there is an offset. I plan to get the XL Original in black with the black lettering. They offer a good compromise on cover without being obnoxiously large. Figure they should blend in the most with the tire and they allow you to adjust in/out base on tire offset.
