You don’t have to run with the Safari groups either — you’ll just be limited to trails that they didn’t get closed that day ( which a lot are closed ; but not all ). Just a FYI.

April 1-Hells Revenge on first Sat
April 2-Poison Spider on Sunday
April 3-10am Metal Masher on Monday
April 5-Steel Bender on Wednesday.
I'm gunning those days.

April 6-I'm on Black Dragon Canyon on Thursday as a participant, then headed for home.

Are you trying to stay at a campground? A lot of accommodations book within a week after Jeep Safari for the next year. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some campsites available somewhere but I honestly think you'll be using the phone a bit to find something?

There are a lot of first come first serve campsites in Moab as well as sites for large groups. I'm hoping getting there Sunday that I can find a spot but there's no guarantee.

Just putting this out there if anyone has Tuesday free. I'd still be up to run to Elephant Hill on Tuesday April 4, 2023 if anyone wanted to go. I'd want to leave Moab about 7:30 to get ahead of the bigger RR4W group. I haven't worked that trail in at least 7-8 years. It's a cool and worthy trail. I know the Tuesday trail leader well and I'm sure we could figure out a way to not impact the RR4W group. We could only have a group of three vehicles and we'd obviously want to stagger ourselves away from the RR4W group. This is assuming we could get a permit 24 hours before.

If I don't get any takers on the Elephant Hill, I'm a free agent on Tuesday and would run something outside of the event if people were interested.

I'd love to meet up but have an event on Wednesday evening to attend. You'll have a great time on Backwards Bill. I just ran that a few weeks ago. No issues at all with my JT on 37" tires. (dragged the trailer hitch a bit at Wipe Out Hill)
