I commute 96 miles each way every day. Putting 1000 miles per week on my JT, plus whatever fun I'm having with it on the weekend. My commute is 2.5 to 3 hours each way, with 1 to 1.5 of that struggling through about 20 miles of stop and go rush hour Interstate traffic. The rest is split pretty evenly between divided highway (60-70 mph) and country roads (45-60 mph). I'm averaging 14.1 mpg right now (Overland, auto, with 37" tires).
I went with the leather seats, and I'm perfectly comfortable throughout the drive, though I've got long legs and sometimes my right knee lets me know it would prefer to have a little more room to stretch out... I installed a dead pedal, too, and that is a big help for leg fatigue.
And let me tell you - you set the heated seats on "3" and they'll literally scald your butt!
I got the base stereo, and it sounds just fine even though I'm running the soft-top.
The only thing that I would say is a drawback is that the mirrors could be a lot better, and when it's dark there is a lot of interior reflection on the soft-top's rear window. But I wouldn't trade it for the hard-top!
