I'm looking for real world experience of someone towing with 37s and 4.10s. Or if you've regeared to 4.56 or 4.88, even better.

I own a shop and tow weekly. No complaints. 37s and 4.10s

I have towed Jeeps and trailer combined weight of 6028 lbs weighed on a scale. Trailer brake controller added

Thanks Adam. I live in South Alabama and will be towing either a 46 Willys or a CJ7 trail Jeep to Colorado next Summer. It'll be a 1 time trip. At least towing another Jeep out there will be just the one time. It's a loooooong trip but mostly flat. I'm just worried about towing that much weight in the mountains. Thinking about regearing to 4.56 or 4.88. After this trip the truck will be towing an undetermined boat on occasion but mostly just road trips.

I towed about 5000 pounds hunting, 37's with mopar lift rubicon. It towed great for what it is, no real power on big hills, I got 11mpg. I am towing between 6k and 8k in altitude. Anymore weight and its the wrong truck in my opinion. It needs a bigger fuel tank. I used a weight transfer hitch which worked wonders in high winds.
