Since you've done them, I'm a little nervous trying them with a bone stock Rubi just with 35s. Anything I should be worried about?

I ran these a few years ago, before the BoH was possible, in a JTRD on 35s with the 2" Mopar lift. Definitely can be done without the lift, although we'll have to spot you well.

If @AmishMike is in the game, then I'm locked in for the 3rd as well. I just signed up for the guided run through the BoH trails at Rausch Creek on the 11th, so November will be central PA month for me!

For clarification, are we doing Saturday the 4th or Saturday the 11th?

Everyone switched to the 11th. Does that still work? I’ll update the first post so it’s more clear.

There was some confusion, the later guys who chimed in this week were still thinking it was the 3rd. I'm at about 50% certain I can be there on either date.

I will be there on the 10th and 11th. Looks like I will be with a JK on 35"s both days and a Tacoma on 1 tons and 40's on Saturday. If the group is too big might have to split up. I am looking forward to finally meeting some of you.

I have wheeled with the Tacoma driver since about 2001 and although he drives a monster, he isn't into destroying his vehicle on the toughest trails.

With 35s you can make it. That’s what I’m running and most in our group were running. You are going to scrap skid plates and your frame… that’s just part of these trails. If you take your time, use good lines, and have spotters, you will be fine on the BOH trails at AOAA. I wouldn’t attempt it if you don’t have sliders but other than that your are good! It says minimum requirements are 33s and sliders.
We had a guy on 40s and lockers get hung up on a ledge while a couple on 33s didn’t even scrape that spot… it’s all about lines and taking your time. The hard obstacles do have bypasses and there is no shame in using them!

Does AOAA have any silly requirements for safety flags or anything like that? I read what I could find on the website, but I'd rather be prepared than surprised.
