What is the cheapest you all have picked one up for and how? I scored one today for 449 and thought I did pretty good, but it was an AS IS orange ticket deal. I have a few days to check it out and make sure all is good. They are 599 at the moment.

Nice. I was hoping to find one fairly cheap, but when someone locally told me about the one sitting there at Harbor Freight, I had to go snatch it up.

Any thoughts on how to test this winch out real good? Ive got 5 days. I dont have a mount plate yet for my bumper, but I need to test it all out so that I can return it if its junk.

I picked mine up for $450 last year on a New Year’s Day sale. The harbor freight employee said that’s the cheapest he’s seen the apex w synthetic line. @93civej1 I think you’ve gotten as good a deal as anyone is able too. Especially with the way prices have gone up this year.

Thanks. Unfortunately mine was open box or a return / refurb for that price with an orange tag from harbor freight. I did test it out and it all checked out ok so I kept it.
