ARB hose size?

Not finding an answer anywhere. I am going to mount a twin ARB under the drivers seat and then run the supply line out to under the hood. For that length of a run do I need to run a larger hose than the standard 1/4" or JIC-04 hose?

Bigger the better. When dealing with compressed air more buffer the better. I would run 3/8in then 1/4in to tires. Bigger to small never small to Bigger.

If you can mount a buffer tank somewhere. I have a 5gal tank and my pressure never falls below 100psi filling 38s.

Output on the compressors is 1/4". Increasing the hose to 3/8" isn't going to increase volume without a storage tank.

Not volume but is a little buffer. If you run any length hose to a quick fitting.... that would be a little buffer or storage it definitely is not much but its somethin. It won't get you more volume but a little buffer.

I have a few customers that have ran the air lines from under the seat out to under the hood. They use the same 1/4" line, just different lengths. As far as I know, they are happy with the air output. Depending on where you are locating your air coupler will determine how much line you need. GRIMM Off-road makes lines up to 120". They have 120, 80, 60, 40, 20 and 12 to put together the best length you need using connecting fittings. I have all of these if you need help figuring all the fittings you need. Let me know!

I have a pneumatic back ground and do understand more then average. yes you are correct, Not much gain but it is there. Main supply trunk is always should bigger than equipment line. ARB compressor 6.89ish cfm and 3/8in hose max cfm is 30.6ish per foot. Not much buffer but is a better design for a tank less system. If you are not running a buffer tank any advantage you could get why not? Cost? Maybe .30 cent lineal foot increase .

Other part of the run is. Is it ok to run the air line and the electrical through the drain plug under the seat? I am thinking since the plug has 2 reliefs it, to run wires through one side and the air line through the other relief in the plug. The line will not get to hot going through the plug will it?

I just received your under seat mount today. Looks really nice. Once I get all my pieces needed to install I will post up. Need hose, some extra wire for the power and the switch wire. If I understand correctly I only need to hook up the purple wire, no ground needed to my Voswitch as I am not using the air locker wires or the ARB switch.

Several customers I know how them going through the drain plugs. I have wiring going through a couple of mine.

If I understand correctly I only need to hook up the purple wire, no ground needed to my Voswitch as I am not using the air locker wires or the ARB switch.
