I am not a person whom would complain publicly/online regarding any business. I ordered the Jeep Gladiator stirrups from Archetype Racing on Dec 29 2023. Today is July 23 2024. No stirrups and no reply to my last two emails requesting an explanation or a refund or even a delivery date on my order. I’ve contacted the credit card company and filed a dispute on the charge of almost $1000.00. I’ve also filed a complaint with the BBB Western states. I’m afraid I bought a bill of goods with no urgency to actually fulfill the order. So disappointed because the stirrups do look good. I recommend that any prospective customer get a solid commit to delivery date before ordering and paying for anything from Archetype Racing.

I purchased a set of their lug nuts and found they do take way too long to fulfill their orders. 6 months does not seem to be out of the question for an order to be shipped. That being said their quality is extremely nice, they are not a Chinese product and it shows. I do have to say that after I did finally start getting communications from the company/owner I discovered that the size they made 19 or 21mm were too large for my wheels and I needed a nut that would fit a 17mm socket and to my surprise and recommendations to the company they designed and made me a set of lug nuts at the size I needed and never asked for any additional monies for this change to their production.

I ordered the magnum stirrups (full length steps) during 4th of July sale. I honestly don’t expect to see or hear anything from them for at least 4 months.(website and ad said minimum 10 weeks) At that point I will contact them for an update. I knew what I was getting into ordering from them. Hopefully they will be worth the wait.

I'm waiting on an order also and got this response today

Hello,

We appreciate your email and we will respond as quickly as we can.

If you haven't received an order confirmation email, please check your spam/junk folder. You will receive ongoing email updates on your order, including a tracking number when your order ships!

All our products are made to order. We appreciate your patience as we produce these functional works of machined art for you.

As of 7/15 these are general updates for current orders:

MAGNUM & STIRRUP ORDERS from November and December are next to ship out. We expect to begin shipping those around the end of the month.

GT350 dry carbon fenders are close now. We will be fitting up the prototype this month and orders will be shipping in August. This timeline has been pushed back 6 weeks due to the change to dry carbon fiber.

DNA badges (not custom) from earlier this year are the next batch to ship. BADLANDS and WILDTRAK are included in this batch.

WHITE BREAD shift knobs are shipping out. Reverse levers are next to be machined, if you've chose to wait for the reverse lever.

CHISEL shift knobs are either at powder coat or being machined for OP-3, depending on your finish type. We expect to begin shipping these knobs in August

I’m a few days shy of 7 months, was told 8 to 10 weeks when I ordered. I also haven’t had any communications from them despite multiple inquiries over the last couple of months (all polite of course).

Go search for archetype over on the bronco 6g forums and you’ll see our experience is far from unique.

The BBB complaints where the owner lies and says he’s a different company are pretty telling too.

Terrible company to do business with, absolutely would not recommend.

I ordered a set of stirrups for my Gladiator on April 20th and have not received anything yet also. I have sent about 5 messages with no replies. The owner of this company seems like a huge asshole after reading his remarks on BBB and Google reviews. I am currently dealing with my bank to try and get my money back.

Well I left them a phone message with no response and an email that got an automated response. Looks like they are still in business but I would appreciate some type of live response from them. When I have some time in the next few weeks I will attempt to contact them again. Wait and see at this point. I honestly figured that even though it said 8-10 week lead time when I ordered it would be 4-6 months.
