Can we swap shocks directly between rubicon JL and JT?
Sponsored
I can confirm this. Fronts are direct swap. Rears are different upper bolt size and no spacer like the front. I ran fox 2.5 performance elites on my wrangler before purchasing and swapping to my gladiator (i had Fox swap out the bushings). No perceived difference in ride quality using the same shock on both platforms.Fronts are interchangeable (probably not the same valving though), rear are different and jl/jt specific
I found a set of NitroCharger OME shocks for JL' up to 2024. If possible I would definitely put those on the gladiator if they will fit. Then I would need to know if the OME JL springs would work on theFor the Fox 2.5 Elite shocks the bushings can be easily swapped out and you can buy them directly from Fox and they are inexpensive...
OP, was this a general question or were there specific shocks that you wanted to know about?
The rear shocks won't fit and they probably don't have replaceable bushings. The Rear springs will not fit either...I found a set of NitroCharger OME shocks for JL' up to 2024.
