When searching by vehicle no skids show up for the JT, but does if drilling into all skids from the front page...

I do IT stuff so I can buy Jeep stuff.
yeah - their web page could use some work. if you shop by model and choose JT the results seem to leave out a lot of things.

So what's changed from the previous 6061 aluminum belly pan system? As far as I can tell, the description here is the same

Unfortunately there were some minor kinks when adding all the new part numbers that are now all sorted out!

We updated the bracketry and design, with new available options such as a removable oil drain door, and the ability to purchase the oil skids directly from the rest of the kits, which is something that has been requested from us for some years now!

I'm not against paying for quality parts, but $999 for a Oil Pan skid only is crazy. Don't be so greedy!

@Artec , do I understand correctly that one can buy separately:
1. https://artecindustries.com/products/jlu-jt-oil-skid-only-with-oil-door-3-0l-diesel-aluminum
2. https://artecindustries.com/product...um?_pos=4&_sid=9c83a4a92&_ss=r&_fid=906ccd262

If we want to start with just the oil skid, for example, then do the complete system later.
And that would be equivalent to buy:
https://artecindustries.com/products/jt-gladiator-full-bellypan-with-oil-door-3-0l-diesel-aluminum

Except maybe for shipping, that would have to be paid twice.

I just noticed while changing my oil that I've ding'ed mine pretty bad and it was close to hitting the bolt, so I need a solution for this at some point to mitigate the risk:

Finally, I don't see the weight of the total system. Could you help us here?

Thanks

The oil pan skid protects the transmission in addition to the oil pan. There's a lot of engineering and time invested into the belly pan systems and they are all 100% made in house in Utah using premium materials unfortunately the Grade of aluminum we use isn't cheap .

here is an article that will explain the benefits of the material we uses vs our competitors

GAS is right around 110lbs total and the diesel is about 135lbs total. As for the shipping aspect, we have been running free shipping on orders over $400 for the last few months and I don't see that promotion going anywhere, so you wouldn't have to pay for shipping once let alone twice!

2 Questions:

Has the new alpha figured out the annoying issue with touching the exhaust manifold?

Also does this allow us to swap out skids with my already existing ones? So if i mess up my original oil pan. Can i just swap with the new alpha?
