That would be a very difficult sell in court though, considering 35's are a factory option and 37's are incredibly common in the aftermarket with little troubleYou will pay the dealer what it would cost to buy a Jscan setup. It has been reported that some dealers will no longer do this.
The warranty issues will come later, if you try to make a drive train related claim and get a bad dealer that wants to blame it on the non-factory wheels and tires.
Yeah, but how long would it take to get it to court, and how much would it cost? Some dealers are very accommodating, and some will look for any reason to not do warranty work. That would be a very difficult sell in court though, considering 35's are a factory option and 37's are incredibly common in the aftermarket with little trouble
My dealer wouldn't do it, but I did it myself.Basically I swapped from the stock wheels to heavier offroad tires, and I've run into issues hitting potholes causing traction/transmission issues, I know I need to update the computer but I'm afraid of going to the dealership to do it as I have the certified warranty. Should I wait the week or two for tazer or go to the dealership?
