At what mileage do you perform your very first oil change?

100km. Ive change to Mopar 5w30 which I bought at Dealer. Then after first 1000km Valvoline 5w40. Then every 5000-5500km Valvoline 5w40. Now i have a little more then 31kkm.

Lake Speed just did a video on this. Says that you should change often when new. Because the oil filter will not filtered out the small particles. I would pull up the video, but I'm traveling at the moment.

I chose 1,000-3,000 in the poll, but it sort of depends on my mood and how it's been driven and the weather.
I don't change too soon as I do want it well-broken in and not taking 20,000 to do so, but I also won't go the full distance on the first change.

I chose 250 -500, also dit it again at 1500 and 3000, do it every 4k with Pennzoil ultra platinum fulll synthetic 0w-20, just rolled 40,000, dont baby it and running great

Whenever my very expensive and very smart on board computer says I need an oil change. Been doing that with every vehicle for years never had an issue.

New engine or new vehicle. I do my oil changes at 500, 1,500, and 3,000 miles. 4,000 to 5,000 miles afterwards. Filters don't always catch everything.

There is a lot chasing decimal points on a spreadsheet that really mean nothing in the aggregate.

I am guilty of it and realize nobody is going to write on my tombstone that I reduced my iron numbers by 2 PPM for doing it.
