So I am a full week (dropped it off last Monday) in on a repair to my Gladiator and the dealer has no idea as to the source of the issue. I described the issue in another thread but in short I have a squeak/whine that is only heard when pushing the accelerator at about 50-60 mph. Pushing it lightly results in this noise which is relatively loud on the front drivers side. They have replaced the wheel bearing on front drivers side and drained diff fluid on front axle and replaced. Nothing else to my knowledge has been done but they keep driving the Jeep and listening to it (said they drove it 2 hours today). I have been patient and now am worried about how much longer this will take on my brand new Jeep. Also getting worried about how many dealer driver miles are getting added with them saying they drive it a couple hours a day to replicate the noise. Painful. Do I have an avenue to push the escalation to Jeep corp?

Thank you for responding. It looks like the dealer did escalate to Jeep and they believe they have found the issue. Seems like the rear diff has an issue they are thinking is related to the rear locker. Hopefully once the new rear diff comes in I will get my Jeep back.

I’m having the same problem right now. I told the dealer about this post but they don’t believe me. It’s been a week at shop and they can’t find the problem. I have 1000 miles on it

Mine is finally resolved. They replaced the rear ended and that didn’t help and finally replaced the rear driveshaft (should have done that from the start) and the noise of gone.
Ask them to try removing the rear driveshaft and drive in 4wd (making it front wheel drive) and see if the noise goes away.

I’ll have to call Jeep. That dealership doesn’t want my input. Sucks I been waiting years for this truck. My luck. I’ll write back when I get it back. Thanks for posting
