I just read the article nd it seems that there are some discrepancies.
It states that you’ll get a 100L petrol tank which equates to over 26 US gallons. In the US we only get 22 gallons...If you do indeed get 26 gallons I would be changing mine out for the extra capacity.

Totally agree! I think Jeep have lost me as a customer! I am now waiting to hear more about the Mustang V8 Ranger Raptor!

I hope you’re right about maybe getting a bigger tank, but I wonder if someone has made a mathematical error and used the wrong conversion? 100 litres down under is 22 imperial gallons (4.5L/ gal). In the USA it’s just over 26 gal as you say (3.78L/ gal).

More importantly a mate just sent me a pic of gladiators on the wharf in NZ! Where it will cost about USD 130 to fill the tank....

There's a bunch of LHD models doing a lap around Aus basically to various dealers. Nothing really that special unfortunately because it STILL doesn't confirm anything for us.

So I sat in the LHD pre launch world tour vehicles, overland and rubicon.... as much as I was willing myself to love it... I just couldn’t and I’ll admit 99% of that is sticker price. It’s cool, it’s capable it’s over and above the top end price of anything on the market here.... rough coin is 70+ overland, 80+ rubicon and 90+ LE. I can buy a high end competitor vehicle add $20k of mods and still be under Jeep sticker....
I’m gutted...

Thanks for the details ... I am now thinking I might wait for a 2 or 3 year old 2nd hand one ...

Think we were seeing Mercedes x class mk2 .... no more than 100 people will pay that coin, even for an admittedly good vehicle.... I’d say it’s 10k minimum overs across the range....

It'll be a real shame if its priced that high, as much as I love it its still just a dual cab ute at the end of the day and entering the huge dual cab Aus market at that price point is hard to fathom...
