So this is a tricky one and something I haven't been able to find an answer to in googling other than to think my aux battery is on its way out.

I recently had a lot of engine work done (Spark plugs, cam shafts, rockers, EGR valve, Oil pump, Variable timing solenoid) and ever since anytime I go above 3500 rpms (Essentially oil pressure above 40psi) the auto start/stop disables and I lose the ability to use my backup lights/camera. No other lights come up and it drives perfectly fine.

Its got 118k miles on it and the computer has been flashed by a dealer to make up for the 2 inch mopar lift and 35 inch tires.

Is this a sign the aux battery is going out or does anyone else have any thoughts on it?

What do you mean it disables - the light comes on or you get a message on the cluster display saying 'auto stop/start not ready' ?

Your oil pressure should be 29-30 psi at below 3,000 RPM and about 70+ over 3,000 RPM so not sure where the 40 is coming from.

You lose the ability to use the backup lights? Which lights? Those come on in reverse - and you won't be running 3500 RPM in reverse - or would you?

I mean the warning light comes up on the dash and I get a message saying auto start stop has been disabled.

My oil pressure under 3k is 29 correct. As I hit 3500 rpm the oil pressure begins to climb (I'm watching it climb on the center cluster where it gives you the oil pressure) and once it goes above 40 it triggers the auto start stop warning to come up.

Yes I lose my reverse lights. The lights that come on in reverse. I am not doing 3500rpm in reverse however no matter what gear I'm in when the auto start/stop warning comes on I then lose the backup camera and reverse lights when I put it into reverse.

Tldr: check the dtc codes, there might be something there?

I don’t have that problem, I have it when in 4wheel lo. No idea where it’s coming from. Going in the shop aug 29 for them to not figure it out again. Body controller is getting bad info from somewhere. But I also have some other weird computer related bugs in 4WD. None that stop it from going but I still have warranty and hate warning lights.

had one the other day, turns out my hood was unlatched on drivers side. When I hit a big enough bump it would disable due to hood switch. No explanation on the dash, but it was there when I checked codes.

I bet you got a pending misfire code that probably never posts as a permanent DTC for the CEL. That will trip the START/STOP disable message. I had that issue on my 2020 Gladiator. Need to scan it when it happens and before cycling the ignition.

Ended up being the clutch slipping. Getting it replaced and then will see if it continues to happen.
