When you pulled the wires through the passenger side firewall seal, did you nick or pull any other wires in that bundle.

When I did mine, I broke the power feed wire to the auto dimming mirror. There is also another thread where someone else gacked up a bunch of other wires at the seal and was actually looking at replacing the whole body harness.

For this reason I recommend pulling the PDC and using the firewall grommet "nipple" for the Aux Switch install....

I did, but it is still a stuffing 10lb of shit in a 5lb bag situation.

Wow - surprised.

Did you uh... use lube? I used a chitload of network cable lube.
I did, used some dielectric grease.

On my Gladiator, the nipple was at the 4 O'clock position from the engine side. The bulk of the existing vehicle harness would bend towards the nipple and made it a angled "reach around" to snake it through. Took care snaking a feed through pulling hanger wire and dressed the wires and hanger with electrical tape to try and minimize snagging.

Not a like job I have not done before. Seeing others running into similar issues, I do not think that pass through nipple is always oriented ideally for every install. Made me wished I have brought home from work a wire spoon and I would have avoided the mess altogether.

Update, I think it's fixed. I pulled everything back apart and made sure wires were secured again. I didn't find anything. Long story short I reassembled everything and did the Tazer reboot cycle again. When I cranked it the locker warning was gone, and dash said AUX not available due to low voltage. Doors were open all day because I'm slow. I did secure the connection @ecidiego mentioned without the supplied connectors. I have an hour drive to work so I'll know for sure in the morning. @Hootbro I'm pretty sure I had enough space between harness and switch harness. I used plenty of tube lube and it just slipped right through. My “nipple” is at 12 as well.

Aux switches give good indication of when 1 or both batteries are in trouble....hope yours charges up.
