What size tires are you going to be running? My installer said with my 5.7 and D44 axles that 37" would be as large as I should go before doing Ton's. So I am pushing the limits and running 38's lol.

I know of another member that has the 6.4 and is running stock D44's maybe with upgraded axle shafts but I can not remember tire size, 37 or 38? So far they are holding up but you are doing the Hellcat (awesome) more torque and I assume larger tires, going to be asking a lot of the D44's, A LOT.
Depending on how often you offroad and how hard you go. If you can not swing axles now you could use the stock axles until you need to upgrade and give you a chance to recoup some funds. Just need to be careful with the skinny peddle so as not to blow an axle out somewhere and get stranded.
Keep us updated on the build!
I currently have 37's and my intent is to keep running 37's. I might run 40's in the future but that's a ways off. I just got my current 37's and I Intnd to drive them until I need a new set.

I got Magnuson Supercharger, RCV front Axle shafts, and rear chromoly axle shafts, with that power your getting I would go all in on dana 60. My friend did the same as you, he had a heavy foot after 1 hour of getting his Jeep back he snapped his gears and axle shafts on Dana 44. He did a big burn out in front of Americas Most Wanted snap. It does suck to spend $20k but its worth to get them done now vs later.

I wish I would of just went Dana60 instead of waste my money on all the upgrades for my axles.

Congrats on a badass motor you will have great times with that.

I'm not going to say you don't need 60's because I have no idea how you drive and what you intend on using the truck for, but the 1/2 ton trucks have been coming with big V8's from the factory for years. It's all going to be how you use your truck. Are the axles going to explode sitting in the carpool line picking you kids up, or cruising down the interstate? probably not.... Are they going to explode the first time you get them bound up in the rocks, catch a rock while spinning in the mud, or doing a burnout in the parking lot? Pretty good chance.....

You could go junkyard axles, build them up to be tanks. Options on sterlings and 60s from older trucks.
