I am currently planning to hit Cedar Tree and Firebreak 5 this Saturday, Aug 21. I do have to make a stop in South Beaverton to pick-up a friend that is joining me. Also stopping at the Gales Creek Shell gas station to get a permit. Open to others wanting to join along.

Never mind at this time. Just saw it is closed due to fire danger. Will not re-open until it drops to Moderate. Currently at High, and just dropped from Extreme.

I am planning on running these trails at the end of March 25th-28th. Anyone interested?

There is not much detail out there on Firebreak 5. What are the minimum requirements for the trail?

I could probably join you, and bring a few buddies from work if it is the 26 or 27.

This is a pretty old thread but did any of you make it out to those BOH trails?
I’m heading up to Oregon for a couple weeks and I’m looking to hit those two on Monday April 29th. If any of you are interested in joining I’m looking for some trail partners.

Several friends and I did Cedar Tree back on July 16th, and a small portion of Firebreak Five as well as several other trails in the area. We went on a Sunday, and we did not really see any people out there. We have talked about heading back out there to fully run Firebreak Five.

I have been bad about checking back in on the forums.

@KevinM60, if you went out yesterday, hope you had a good time. Unfortunately, at the time weekends are about only time I can get out.

@Hayduke, also sorry I did not see this. I would have not been able to then as was prepping for a 4-week cross country trip back then.
