Let me know where my thinking is off regarding the need to lift my Jeep

I'm thinking of going from 35s to 37s on my non lifted Mojave and in terms of fit this should not be a problem without a lift. My logic being that along with the additional 1 inch front height advantage over the Rubicon I also installed new fender flares front and back that allow for additional clearance so I shouldn't have to worry about tires hitting the fenders during articulation. Also the extra wide axles should prevent me from rubbing with 37s. Since I'm not lifting I shouldn't have to worry about extended shocks or relocating the bump stops. I do like the occasional lite off road adventure but I don't do any rock crawling. I do plan to regear. So that's my thinking, tell me where I'm wrong. All input is of course greatly appreciated.

You can add 37s to a stock Rubicon and do heavy offroading. You're good.

Along with the looks, I like the thought of the additional 2 inches of ground clearance which would help with urban off roading as in snow storms and pot holes and things of that nature.

Well you are only actually gaining 1" of ground clearance. The tire is 2" taller but that is split top and bottom. So yes you are gaining 1" of ground clearance. But you are losing 1" of flex room in the wheel wells. Just food for thought.

It's only one inch of extra clearance. But you should be fine. I have 37s on mine with a lift still in my garage waiting to be installed and haven't rubbed yet.

Stock 4.10’s? How does the power feel? Looks great!

I have 37 KO2s on AEV Borahs on stock 4.10s and I think it feels fine. It's not winning any races, but it doesn't need to. I think the power reduction from stock tires seems negligible. I am running a 2" lift.

I have the same tires. Seems OK on 4.10s until you go 5.13s and see it wake up...which is what I did. Plus driveline load gets reduced.

I thought if I go from a 35 to a 37 I gain 2 inches of ground clearance, in terms of losing an inch in the wheel well that makes complete sense except I'm running a higher clearance fender so that should off set the 2 inch loss, right?
