Hi fellow Jeepers!

Happy Holidays to all :) I am wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with the Banks Pedal Monster? I have been able to find many videos on the Pedal Commander but not too much on the Banks Pedal Monster. I am on a 2021 gas 6 speed JTR.

I am interested in figuring out which route is the best one for me. It seems like both programs achieve the same goals.

Thank you so much for your support and information.

Cheers!

Mario.

I have a 6 speed gas with the Banks. I have the Banks set so that it acts stock untill 10 mph, then after 10 mph the desired pedal curve starts. Handy for times you are doing that delicate clutch/throttle dance at low speed or starting off, like starting out on ice and don't want to break traction etc. I don't know if you can do that with any other throttle controller. It also reverts to normal stock mode in reverse. It's been fine, no regrets. I had a Sprint Booster before the Banks and my feeling was take it or leave it on the Sprint Booster. I would say my biased opinion is probably doesn't matter that much for a slush box, but since you have a manual I'd do the Banks, I did. Good luck.

Highly recommend Banks. It’s well thought out with some built in safety features that aren’t on the Pedal Commander. It’s all controlled with a well designed phone app. Just make sure you have a phone mount to mess with all of the settings. It makes the JT much more fun to drive.

Thank you so much for the heads up. Do I need to buy the Idash or the app on my iPhone would so just fine?

Is your JT auto or manual? Thank you again for your help and support!

Mine’s an auto. You don’t need to buy anything extra. The phone app works great. Definitely one of my favorite mods - it makes it feel like the JT has more power. Note that you may see some MPG decrease depending on how aggressive you set it.

One other heads up if you purchase it. You’ll see that the reverse safety feature doesn’t list the Gladiator - you end up setting it to the Ram Eco setting and it works fine (this is guidance provided by Banks support folks).

This is great information. I was under the impression I had to purchase the additional hardware ???

Thank you so much once again for your help and assistance!

I too was wondering about this. I had a Pedal Commander in my gas Ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi and what a world of difference!

It sounds as though the Banks is the way to go however I only have experience with the PC.

What does the banks pedal monster actually do? Do you typically drive in higher RPM’s?

And, not taking anything away from the Banks, but I have enjoyed the Pedal Commander on both my Tundra and now my JT for years. Worked great on both, love the increased response! They truly are almost needed on these things, and work great!

Hi,

I bought Banks for my manual as well waiting for it to arrive. What do you think about the lag in second gear when you need power in low RPMs? would this help with that at all?

Thanks

I have an auto, but I bought the banks specifically to get rid of throttle lag. I actually have it set super low, like level 3 of 27, and it does exactly that. Works great. I can't imagine who is running this thing in track mode...
