Anybody out there buy a base or stripped down Rubicon model? How do you like it? How much did you get it for?

Do the pricing sheet or figure 5% below invoice. Prob about as good as you can do within 1k. Stripped down would be a manual and soft top. Other than missing those two options it is still very well optioned.

I bought my rubicon without the adaptive cruise control and safety features. I got a dual top, auto trans, alpine speakers, bedliner, remote start. Sticker was 52,115. All said in done the final price was 49,100 before my trade in. It doesn't look like the best deal but this dealer gave me the best trade in.

I call BS, I live in the Pittsburgh area and have only seen 1 other Gladiator in the 2 months I've owned mine and it was a red overland.
Out of curiosity where did you buy from?

I wish I would have been able to get a less optioned Rubicon, but there weren't any when I bought mine.

That’s my plan. Only options would be auto trans, tow package, and the auxiliary switches I think. May splurge for the hard top, but not sure yet.

I bought mine from rotolo dodge in charleroi. If you private message me ill send you the window sticker and my final paperwork. I usually shop at ron lewis which is less than a mile away. They wouldn't budge on price and they offered close to nothing on my trade in. Rotolo beat them all around on trade and purchase price.
If you want a gladiator call rotolo and ask for jim thats who i worked with. I ordered 5/14 and it arrived the 7/29 i picked it up yesterday

To me, "base" means no options and "stripped down" is subjective unless you want to define that further.

I got a fairly basic Rubicon because the Sport S just hasn't been orderable with Trac Loc for weeks now at my dealer. Instead of waiting I just went up to the Rubicon but obviously going up from Sport S was a premium so I tried to keep my options list down. I got MSRP. The dealers here in AK are all surcharging the Gladiators. My dealer said mine would be the first they didn't mark up.

I just got a base Rubicon. The only options are automatic, tow and remote start. Sticker was just under 48000 and paid 44000 at Lester Glenn Jeep in NJ. It ended up being 3% under invoice. It was on the dealer lot. If you want to order one contact Criswell Jeep in MD and they will give you 5%. I just didn't want to wait and not have it for the summer. Good luck in your hunt. I love my Rubicon.
