I'll give it a look...No frame you say. Hmmm, interesting.
I guess I should rephrase that…..it doesn’t have the traditional style frame with all the tubes and fold up bits like a factory soft top. There are rails that it locks into and helps it hold shape. That design tho does make it a lot lighter and easier to remove the whole thing whenever you want.

I believe I have seen that one. The rear can fold up and under the front fold, correct? Along with the rear window being gone?

The upgraded top is tough. Did I mention it's tough? Looks much better too.

I don't recall if I found the definitive answer, but I do remember the listed numbers suggesting the hard top is lighter.

While there's certainly packaging involved, the shipping weights from Quadratec are 85lbs (HT) and 124lbs (ST).

Man, isn't that a twist? I would have never suspected a lightweight fabric top would outweigh a formed fiberglass panel.
Now having said that we both may be wrong. There is a small possibility that the softie needs additional packaging to support it during the shipping wars. The hard top would be pretty self-sustaining given my experience with it. The thing is very robust.
All this may well be academic as the lady of the house wants the "open air" experience.
To me, the open-air experience reminds me of the days of flying helos with the doors all removed because people were shooting at us. I guess they didn't like helos with no doors buzzing about 8-0

It surprised me too, but figured it was the connection points and hardware adding up.

I've seen no definitive answer as some info I've seen is flat out wrong, and others are estimates based on shipping, or guesstimates of those handling them.

This Mopar guy paints a different picture Here

But that HT estimate is more than people say, and more than Quadratec shipping, so maybe it's when the parts are shipped separately.

The HT is likely around 75 based on shipping and word around the boards. ST is harder to pinpoint, but seems heavier, even if slightly, in any figures I've seen. Would love to find the definitive answer for closure.

Information I have puts the hard top in the 75lbs range, and the soft top in the 80 lbs range.

Soft top weighs a touch more because of the support mechanism for folding it back and the rear frame to hold the corners and rear window. But they're so close in weight that I'd recommend you get the experience you want rather than sweating weight on something removable. If you really want to push it, a hard top with sunrider should be the lightest configuration.

Ya, OK...
Best information I could come up for the hardtop was Back: 56/ Front:44, total right at 100lbs.
