Hmm, you could have gotten a Tacoma, no wait they have howling differential, odd shifting, and peeling paint. Week maybe a Ridgeline, rats they have leaky rear windows and over heating transmissions. Ok how about a Colorado, oh bad transmission and leaky oil coolers. Perhaps the Ranger, no it has misaligned body panels, seat latch issues, and jerky transmission. I don’t even want get into the new Frontier fuel gage, panel figment, and electrical gremlins.
I say all this in jest. All car manufacturers are having issues as the vehicles we are purchasing continue to get more electronics and driveline programming. Enjoy whatever you buy and if you plan to keep it buy an extended warranty from the respective manufacturer before the original full warranty runs out. Usually within 3yrs/36k to be safe.
To be fair, there aren’t any transmission issues with a 2018.5+ Colorado Canyon.

Mine was a 2017, which was the first year of the 8 speed. I had to take it in a few times before they finally knew how to fix it. It turned out that the problem was a ridiculously simple fix. The fluid was hygroscopic. Once the moisture content got high enough, the shifting went to hell.

Also, to be fair, it was really bad before they knew how to fix it. When I was in stop and go traffic, it would mess up bad sometimes to the point where I would have been perfectly content putting it in park, lighting it on fire, and leaving it in the middle of the lane burning down and not looked back.

Because I read this forum I feel like I am driving a time bomb!
I only have 2000 miles on sport S Max tow and love it, but it's like I am dating a hot chick and just waiting for her to leave. Probably a bad analogy.
Here is the point is there a data base, spread sheet and or survey about milage and no problems and problems. I bet this forum has scared off some people because bad news gets all the press. Just imagine a spread sheet with miles every 5 or 10k stating no problems or what problem you have had. Man I am really hoping this fire cracker red hot chick is a keeper.

Most all the widespread non-forum press has been very good. I have had a few minor issues but they get fixed fast and free. It's still an amazing truck/jeep. Steering Pump, Fuel tank pressure sensor, visor attachment. August 2019 sale date.

You won't find any forum or ownership group with the kind of detail you want. If you do, send us an example, we are all open to education and improvement, especially of this great site.

Perhaps refer to the generalization sites, I do. Consumer Reports. Edmonds. Car and Driver. Truck Trend.

Have fun!

And I bet for every 1 that got scared off, 10 got pumped up and stoked on what they were about to do or already did.

It seems a lot of the complaints I see are from individuals that never owned a Jeep before. This is my 5th Jeep and some of it I pretty much write off to its a jeep. Keep you expectations really low and you will rarely be dissappointed.

Oh, and by the way, I will keep buying them.
Here, I fixed it for you.;)

50K on my Mojave and my only gripe is a creaky noise in the suspension and a subtle and rare dead feeling in the steering. Otherwise, I’m completely enamored and always looking for an excuse to get behind the wheel.

I have a 2020 Sport S with 20k miles; I’ve only had 2 issues so far, the third brake light went out (warrantied), and had both visors replaced (warrantied). I occasionally get vibrations in the sound bar, but that’s been a known thing since the JK’s and the JL/JT is no different. But other than that it’s been smooth sailing. Still on the original steering box (for now).
