I am running the overland rack from JCR. I'm not too impressed with certain aspects. If I had to do it again I would go for the XTR1 from Xtrusion Overland.
Xtrusion Overland makes an amazing rack, and the company has a bunch of good guys working there. They just helped me get my RTT mounted at Overland Expo because 23Zero left us high and dry for help after promising to mount the tent.

I considered an extrusion style bed rack, but I feel like they look like something you would buy from Home Depot. There are a few companies out there making them and they all look the same.

I don't have a Softopper but check out this bed rack from Max-Modular that is made to fit around a Softopper: https://www.max-modular.com/jeep-gladiator-bed-racks-1/pro-max-topper-gladiator-bed-rack

I'm currently running one of their standard PRO-MAX bed racks and love it. The guys over there were also very helpful in getting me set up. Very responsive and actually answer the phone when you call.

I noticed your truck is on their website for the Gladiator rack, nice!

Side note, just curious, your colored spots/flakes, were those put on individually or is it part of one large clear wrap? I love that it's unique while still tasteful.

Yes, I live relativity close to them so they hooked me up in return for using my truck for some photographs. Great guys...

The spots are part of a larger clear wrap. They were on their when I bought the truck. I think one of the vinyl shops up in Buffalo did it.

how much did you chop from the uprights ? any shots of the softopper bottom rail and adarac bottom rail alignment ? Looks great...... i'm leaning towards this

Love it!

I made an F-250 Adarac system work with a Tacoma Softopper:

Just enough for the topper to clear the uprights.
I had to cheat the softopper rail over the Adarac rail to get enough clearance to unsnap the sides.

Perfect! Thanks for all these shots. Much appreciated. I'm going to ring them tomorrow.
The aluminium Pro seem to be far more vertical and dont follow the line of the softopper's side. Is there a certain reason you went with this angle of upright? And if you had gone with the more vertical uprights i'm assuming you wouldnt have to shave as much off the vertical uprights where they angle inwards ? Or am i missing something ? Thanks again, Michael

I thought it would compliment the angle of the topper.

Possibly. Not sure.

It's straight up.
No it won't follow the line of the cab or topper but ... while the upper angle of the uprights does well complimenting the lines, to my eye the first few inches which is straight up, takes away from the aesthetic. I've tried to get several friends and others to confirm this but feel like I can't get an honest answer out of anybody, lol.
I likely would've swapped them out already but if I do that, I'll lose the ability to offset my storage tube out of the way allowing me to drop the cab top, so for right now and the foreseeable future, it's all function over form.

Thanks Chuck, just one more question, how many inches taller are the adarac crossbars over the softopper?

Hey this got lost in the shuffle.

3-4". Anything on the rack is about 1-2" over the soft top.

btw, and i may have already asked this: are you able to fold back the softopper with the adarac rails on the bed ? I'd like to haul a vintage Lambretta in the truck bed under the roof top tent , can only do so with the softopper folded down.
