I plan on getting an I pad mini for off road mapping. Just wondering what is the best mounting system for it. I have seen 67 Designs and Bullett point. Any others and what one is the best for an I pad mini?

I have the Bullet Point for mine and it works pretty good. I've never shaken it loos on the trail.

I will second the Bullitpoint recommendation. I have one and have had no issues with the iPad mount.

Bullet Point for the win. When the iPad isn’t in there, it holds my wife’s iPhone. It’s been super secure, way more than I imagined, and if I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t think twice about it. The only con that I can think of, is that I have no need for an action cam holder; would rather have something in the middle that holds a hand held radio.

I have the iPad on the left. Phone in the center. And handheld radio on the right. My GoPro mounts on the platform but I use the GoPro adhesive clip because it has a lower profile than the bulletpoint GoPro mount.

Thanks guys, looks like the Bullet point for the win. Now just get the I pad mini. BTW,, how much memory do I need for the mapping. I guess just get the most and not worry about it.

Get all the memory you can afford.

I have the Bulletpoint setup (identical to what KevinM60 above is using). Works great.

You can always add and change out the holders on that system
