Actually was looking at Ram 2500s and saw the dealer had this... I'm good on Gladiators but for anyone living in California wanting the Max Tow package....

This is a NEW (dealer wants it off the lot probably) unsold 2022 Stinggray SPORT S with a 55K MSRP that is pretty loaded right at 28% off MSRP (gas 3.6). It's priced at 39K. First, it's not white, it has the max tow package, aux switches, spray in bedliner, even heated seat package (CA). https://www.jeep.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=1C6JJTAG1NL166958

From my perspective, TTL would be two years cheaper than a 24 in my state. cheaper insurance, NEW TRUCK, Max Tow, aux switches, spray in bedliner OEM and NOT white are nice features... I'd even ask for a bit more off like 30%. It might be another one K. Watch your trade in as they are going to want to get some back there and fees, but it is CA so who know. Also, for out of staters, I hear it is a royal bear trying to buy a new car in CA if you don't live there. They apparently prefer you pay sales tax for California and there are hoops and hoops if you want to avoid that.

Looks like a great deal.... The only thing I see missing is the LED's, but you can add those.

Looks good, you can avoid sales tax if you are out of state but it all depends on the dealership and how they want to work with you. I purchased a vehicle early last year and they had no issues not charging me any sales tax, registration fees or anything and gave me all the documentation I needed. On the flip side I took the risk of driving a completely unregistered vehicle from CA back to TX and I had to mail them back some Gas slips at the CA border but it was cheaper and faster than having it delivered.

Thanks for the info on CA...

Sheesh, they must REALLY want to get rid of that... AND it has a diesel which for me is sort of a negative but for people that want a diesel... I like the High Altitude as it has the wide Dana's and most of the bells and whistles they have. Base it also has the limited slip diff and the cold weather pkg, safety stuff if thats important, along with the Diesel.

I see a lift, wheels and tires (I personally don't like the wheels but that it to each their own). Then you have a color matched cap, find out what brand and research a bit would be my recommendation... for all of the after market stuff. I see the "oracle" rear flush lights along with the tailgate lights from Oracle. Looks like some kind of after market rock rails, that could be good but it will be a bear to climb into with the lift and no steps.

Get your list by brands and search on price and reviews. Irrespective this is very marked down... I'm thinking they tricked this out as a "show piece" but now we are a quarter of the way through the following year and it's time to get rid of it while Stellantis has 15% off. That will disappear likely by July for 23's then the dealer takes any loss once that happens.

Once you get it (if you do) you might consider the drop down steps/rock rail particularly if you have a significant other of some sort but that will conflict with existing rock rails. Rock Slide engineering has the mother of all rock rail/power steps at about three K. Rough Country has the least expensive at about 1K but they are NOT rock rails, but you might not need those. That thing is going to be way up in the air.

Other things. Unless it is ONLY going to be a show piece, look at a bedliner. It doesn't have an OEM I noticed. You will want to protect the bed. Sprayed in is 600ish, but plastic or lesser ones are halfish that or better. And the Diesel will be good on gas mileage but that Italian diesel does NOT have a very good reputation now into its third generation still having some issues if I am not mistaken, but others swear by them. But I think there is a reason they are NOT offering the diesel on the 2024. I do have a bias against that engine but that's my problem.

Good luck, that pricewise is a killer deal particularly with all the after market...

But, if you want a Diesel and would like a lift big tires etc., this is fantastic.. AND beats my best deal easily. I'm from Indiana originally and this might be nice up in Michigan. You are pretty flat up in the Fort Wayne as I remember. It's awful pretty though so you gotta be willing to get it dirty if you are going to have any fun... So, don't spaz out on pinstriping (from brush) or a ding here or there... Of course you could just want it for looks. Irrespective, good deal.

After reading the fine print, it appears to have some kind of electric steps that deploy on door unlock. I suppose that's why it looks like it has rails.

It definitely didn't feel like $20k. Suppose they've wrapped a bunch of installation labor into that number, too.

Here are the custom options they say are on it.

Overland Oracle lights, ARE bed caps, Rhino wheels & 40" tires, Sky Jacker 5.5" lift kit, Amp Power XL steps, phone holder, one of a kind Jeep Overland, Overlander Bad Ass Jeep, digital rear view mirrow, full Oracle tail light grid, custom graphics, Sun King Indy, last of the diesel.
