Hello All,

Last summer I had a dealer install a KC Pro6 Light Bar on my 2023 Mojave.

This Light Bar looks cool but is not very good design in build quality. The individual plugs on the back of the lights have become sliced and broken over time. See pics below…

I contacted KC and all they do is send out the individual lens to replace…

plus this light bar is extremely noisy when the center support rubs on the Jeep when driving.

Anyone have any better ideas on a better light bar? I thought about going with the KC Flex Era light bar instead due to only having one wire light up all the lights so I no longer have to worry about each light quick connect becoming sliced my current ones do, but it has no center support… are center supports needed?

your suggestions are extremely welcome!!!

Take a look at Tyri’s offerings. https://tyrioffroad.com/

I have their 1010’s and 1313’s which are Mopar branded. They’ve been rolling out a lot of new stuff for Jeeps including light bars.
On KC’s, I have a the Gravity Pro6 on a JL. I havent seen the damage that you have.

how often do you use them? if not often, you could look at the Chinese stuff by niight on amazon, it is low price point and if it breaks your only out a fraction the cost of KC.

The breaks are just wires, i suspect you could replace the wires if you were motivated.

i bet wind buffeting fatigued the wires and they broke in colder weather.

Did you contact KC? They might be covered by their 27 year warranty. Worth a shot….

Center support for the LED light bars aren't needed. I had an auxbeam one that was pretty good, it whistled like every other bar but the rubber dampers really helped a lot.

I'm looking to switch to the KC light bar myself, so I'd be happy to work out a deal to swap my light bar for yours (and some cash) I'm not terribly far from you. PM'd you

I wonder if that was due to the tech installing the lightbar being careless; I question the quality of work when someone can't even flush-cut a zip tie.

I’m sorry. I didn’t see where you had contacted KC.
I agree with @Sweetums, it looks more like an install mistake. I would inspect the wiring route to see why the cut occurred. Then purchase a new harness and install it. Or go to the installer and make them replace/repair that harness.
