Hello all,

I am looking to buy a hardtop and a bunch of other OEM parts and I wanted to know if mymoparparts.com is the best place to purchase OEM parts from. They quoted me a price of approximately $1700 for the same hardtop Mopar/Dealership wanted $2500 for. I appreciate and respect the information I've received through this forum so I figured let me ask before I fork over my hard earned money.

Thanks in advance and be safe!

I try to use Board sponsors when I purchase things.

I am a member of several different Owners Forums and have found that your Sponsors do a LOT for the members of those Boards that the members never know about.

So when purchasing, think about the ones that make our sandbox more fun to play in.

BAM is definitely the place. I bought my AUX switch kit which I just installed yesterday from them for $291 which beat everywhere I looked. I started searching various part numbers through them and their prices beat everyone.

I've found the best way to get the greatest deals is to let Google do the work for me. Find the part number you want and use that number in a search. Parts warehouses prices vary significantly from one place to the other. One supplier might have a good price on one item but have horribly inflated prices on other items. I always Google the part number and compare the results between the suppliers. I just did a quick check on the supplier mentioned above for two different part numbers - the place above was more expensive than three other suppliers I found. Parts number searches are your friend. Also, watch the shipping costs as well - shipping prices can be all over the place.

This is 100% what I do too.

I’ve looked at Bam’s for items and they are priced really well.

+1 to BAM wholesale.
Funny. When I posted about BAM being cheaper for a specific OEM part, my post was deleted by a moderator. I just assumed it was because the same part was also offered by a sponsor at a higher price.

BAM Wholesale is good for small stuff but something large like a hard top, I suggest buying within driving distance. BAM is the cheapest for a set of Rubi fenders by over $100, for example but it costs way more than that to get them shipped to the point local MSRP and tax is similar.

For the OP here, I just looked at my sticker from last June and the Black Freedom top was a $1195.00 option.

BAM BAM BAM I love that place! Wish they had free shipping but they still beat any price I have ever found. Bought a mopar 3 piece bumper, skid plate, close out panel, hardware and LED tail lamps and A+ on service. Ended up not getting my close out panel in the shipment and called them they had one shipped overnight. The web site is not user friendly but the prices can’t be beat! Also, if you dig around online you can find a promo code. Pain to enter in because the web site is not the most user friendly but it can be done!

Google. I just put the part number in there, and look at the results. There are usually a few of them. I'll check them out, and see how the total price with shipping looks, as well as delivery times. For larger dollar items I email the parts manager at my dealer and he matches anything online and has it within 24 hours.
