Best stubby antenna?

Hey guys! Just went through the wash with my Gladiator. No, this isn't a horror story so if you got excited I'm sorry ???. I went to remove the antenna on the gladiator and I realized that I really don't want to deal with that every time I go through a wash. Plus I don't really care for the look. Please share your experiences with stubby's good and bad. Pic of my freshly washed JT for your viewing pleasure ?.

I have the Rydonair Bullet Antenna, $28 on Amazon. I've had no difference in reception, it looks way better, and I've been through a few car washes with it. I would recommend it.

+ 1 for Rydonair on Amazon. I have the 13 inch. No reception issues. It's loosened on its own a few times, but never to the extent it would fall off. Love your Sarge!

I went with one of the Cravenspeed stubby antennas. Works well and looks nice.

I have the Rydonair 13in and have no complaints. In all fairness though I listen to Sirius XM 99.9% of the time since we live in Denver and drive thru the mountains often. I honestly spent the $27 to not have the OEM antenna in the way when I washed the windshield and I think the OEM silver one was just ugly.

It doesn't bother me at all. I don't take mine off at the carwash either. Didn't know that was a thing. It gets washed with my jeep. Never have done that on any vehicle with a long antenna.

Do any of you saying no change in reception live out in the country or take cross-country trips? Asking because I put a 50cal bullet antenna on my JKU and reception sucks where I live. I don’t even turn on the radio anymore

Only thing I didn’t like about the stock antenna was the color, I ordered a replacement that is all black from Amazon, may be a couple inches shorter than stock.

Rydonair 7" on both mine and the wife's jeeps. Tampa has extremely strong radio broadcasts so I cant speak to reception loss if you live in the country, but we didnt suffer any noticeable loss.

I have the Rydonair 13". For looks only, I have satellite.

On one of the LiteBrite videos a woman was getting out of a doors off rig that was stuck, as she went to swing herself out, she slipped, and the back of her upper arm came down on top of a bullet antenna. She was hanging on it until someone pulled her off. Ouch
