Softopper has a premium twill version….I just installed mine. They also offer different options like a mesh rear window. I went with Softopper as it fits the Galdiator lines better IMO.

Not just the softopper, but the DatinFab rack. I did not get the most budget friendly option, but I got the most versatile

Don't get me wrong, the Bestop unit is nice....I just can't stand the look of it from the side.

I think it looks better with a factory soft top on the gladiator. I agree it looks weird with the hardtop, though I feel the same way about the softtopper in that regard.

I made a mistake when I got mine I got the base material for the topper and the twill for the tonneau to try and save a few bucks. I assumed I would not want the topper on most of the time just when I needed the extra space but in reality I have found that having the topper on is my preference and I only want the tonneau for spring and fall when I’m rolling with the back cab window off safari style

If I had to do all over I would be the topper in twill and probably just skip the tonneau or Get it in the cheaper material.

Either way I like the idea of having the topper or the tonneau without having to take the frame off. and I like the side zip panels because the are pretty convenient when what you need is at the front of the bed you can just reach in the side.

overall I’m a big fan

I bought my Supertop for a trip to Yellowstone and was planning to go back to tonneau but I got hooked on the functionality and I leave it on all the time.

I'm not 100% sure I'm adding to the discussion, but, here's why I'm considering the Supertop. Options. By having one set of rails that accommodates both a tonneau and a cap I can swap between the two when necessary. Admittedly, I know nothing about the Softtopper so, if that system offers both options it may be something I should consider. The only thing I wish is that I could buy the Supertop mounting rails with the tonneau first and add the cap later. Buy-in would be a lot less and allow for the upgrade to the cap later.
Check out my review on the tonneau cover portion of this combo. Short answer is it is a pain to open and close quickly. The little plastic tabs you have to snap in along the rails wears on my patience. The biggest issue is the corners do not snap down so they always look weird and it doesn’t keep the water out.

Thank you very much. Glad I saw that. Yes, the corners sticking up look terrible. I might go another route.

Does anyone know of issues with leaving the rails on without the topper? I have the Bestop Supertop and I like having it when I need it, but I prefer to take it off when I don't need to use it. Leaving the rails on makes it quick and easy to pop the topper on and off as needed.
