Fellow Oklahoman here too. My twill version should be shipping April 4, unless I hear otherwise, which I'm honestly not going to hold my breath on that delivery date, but we'll see.
I just couldn't make myself give them $1300 just to order it , then have bestop keep the money for three months or more. Crap only had to put $1000 down on $50,000 Gladiator.

Yeah, I ordered mine January 3 and I hate that they charge at the time of ordering rather than at the time of shipping. It sucks because it's not just something I want, it's something I need. The twill material is only something I wanted rather than needed, but I just wanted it to match my premium soft top.

I have the hard top in black so I was okay with the black diamond sail cloth. And it was in stock and was delivered in less then a week. Not to rub it in, I was okay with what was available.

I see my truck's already been showed off here, but oh well.
I've installed the Twill topper twice now (had a thief cut through 3 layers of vinyl to get in my cab). my observations:
I love it, I love the look (specifically twill on twill). I love how it changes the proportions of the truck, and completely changes the appearance in a good way. It will make your tires and lift look little, though.
Regarding the panel fit and popping loose, you can slightly tighten the fit by moving the rails outboard 1/8" to 1/4" each. there's a limit to how much the corners will slide around in their mounts.
The biggest issue I've had, is the side panels are too LONG. the whole thing seems to be designed to pre-stress the frame and fabric to stay strong on the interstate (pushing back).

In both instances, I addressed the long side panels and corresponding mid-panel pucker, as well as side panels popping loose, by slotting the forward corners and moving them toward the cab about 1/4". this keeps the side panels flat and tight.

In my experience, its a few notches better than "better than nothing". its not bone dry, but we can now carry luggage in Rubbermaids in the bed, in a rainstorm, on road trips. I can carry strollers and groceries without things walking off in the parking lot.
I never imagined being a campershell and mudflaps kinda guy, but here we are.

We all use our Gladiators a little differently.
I actually tow with my Max tow and will do sand and forest trails so I am good with the all terrain tires and mud flaps on the back as not to pelt the trailer with road debris.
So not the biggest baddest Gladiator on the block or trail just maybe the most practical. Wait did I just use Jeep and practical in the same sentence? ?
To keep this relevant can you elaborate on how and where you made the slots.

My only regret is that I didn’t get the twill material. It looks so much better and seems more durable. That being said I really like my camper shell and whatever brand people get I’m sure they all have their pros and cons. I knew I would be taking mine off and on every season so the Velcro on the softopper was a dealbreaker for me. I also wanted a tonneau cover that used the same rails which you can get with this model HOWEVER… I got the tonneau cover and it fits weird. It sticks up on the corners. I’m not really happy with it. Just proves to me once again that almost anytime you buy a “2 in 1” type product you usually get at least one of the 2 products that are subpar. I’m not sure why I always have to learn this lesson over and over again lol.

Just got word my April 4th anticipated shipping date got pushed back another month, which will make it 5 months from order to delivery if that May shipping date even holds.

I don't understand what the holdup is. It's fabric, metal, and plastic. They have plenty of all of it to make Jeep tops. It doesn't contain any rare computer chips.

I'm getting a little nervous as camping season is rapidly approaching and yet I'm hesitant to cancel because I specifically want my twill Supertop. A traditional tonneau cover won't suffice for what I need.

just wanted to update everyone my Bestop Super Top. It rained today and I wanted to show how much water comes in the bed… The few drops in the middle of the gate are from me opening the gate. The cluster on the right was there from the rain. Then the drop on the right side of the pic near the front of the Jeep was there too. No it’s not 100 percent waterproof. Here is the you pics:

I'm still waiting on mine. My expected ship date keeps getting pushed back. When I ordered it on January 2nd it was a 30 day expected wait. Now my newest anticipated shipping date is the first week of June. I just don't understand the delay. It's not like these contain rare computer chips or anything, it's mostly the same exact materials made by the same exact company that keeps Stellantis pumping out Jeeps on the daily. I mean I totally get prioritizing a huge corporate agreement over a single sale, but I'm at 5 months and counting now.

I needed this for camping season which technically started for me two weekends ago, and this would have been real nice to have then.

I'm so close to being forced to cancel and go another route.

The Outlander by Agri-cover is also out of stock unfortunately.

My twill Supertop came in, in 10 days. Not sure what’s going on. Definitely pricey but works well.
