The Mopar (tereflex) 2 inch lift is a great start but for me it opened the door for more. Certainly allows for 37’s but with jeep bringing back the FAD plus the heft of the tires and the hard alignment caused by a short track bar and bad caster, a change was needed.

Since we were doing the 4.88’s anyway, we went ahead and addresses all these issues plus built for the future with the following changes:

Steer Smarts YETI XD adjustable track bar
Synergy sector shaft and track bar brace
Clayton Offroad adjustable LCA’s
RPM Steering 7075 aluminum tie rod and drag link
RPM Steering steering stabilizer relocation kit
Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer
Artec Industries Truss kit
Artec Industries inner C gussets
Artec Industries LCA skids
Clayton Offroad FAD skid
Dana 1 ton ball joints
ARB diff cover

The parts work together as a system really well. The RPM Steering tie rod and drag link is massive. Its made of 2 inch solid bar 7075 aluminum. It can flex almost 20 degrees and still remember its shape. The Yeti and sector shaft eliminated the slop these gladiators have from the factory. Solid as a rock now. My opinion is the lift should come with LCA’s. We finally got a decent caster setting with the Clayton arms, and more articulation.

Even for the casual offroader like me, the truss and armor is basically just piece of mind. People are breaking the housing at the weak point, and with the 37’s there’s now piece of mind that things are more likely to hold together.

All of it went together great. Here are some pics. Let me know thoughts.

(Beer can is for scale!!)

Can’t say enough good things about this forum, the many vloggers on youtube, and our local shop Elite Offroad in Chelsea AL. All were instrumental in helping us prioritize the mods and select the best combo for our needs.

Just FYI - A had that trackbar and diff cover combo and found that the trackbar would hit the fill dipstick top when flexing. Also relocated my Fox stabilizer with a similar bracket and had to reconfigure the bolt clamp on the adjuster sleeve so it wouldn't hit the stabilizer. YMMV

Been looking hard at that RPM steering setup - just haven't pulled the trigger yet - looks great!

Good point... Most of the aftermarket diff covers seem to be engineered for installation with silicone.... Sometimes if you use a "re-usable" gasket, the stock track bar will interfere with the diff cover at full compression.... Most diff covers just barely clear with a stock track bar and silicone.

Nice, you doing the CAD or FAD delete as what Jeep is calling it in JL/JT model line... I might have missed it if you said so. Looking about as bullet proof short of D60 /80:like::like::like:

@Silvertruck Any issues with the clearance that others have encountered?

Actually, yes. Yeti trackbar made contact with ARB diff cover and RPM steering was making contact on original relocation of steering stabilizer.

So, we went to the clayton off road 3.5 inch lift and a motobilt diff cover. All ills solved and ride is also better with clayton arms and springs.

I came back to this thread as I love the updates and improvements John made and look forward to a longer term assessment.

I also wanted to share a quick experience I had this past weekend. I only have a Mopar lift, Synergy brace and track bar, and 37/13.50- 20 tires. I also have the original aluminum steering box. I’ve had no steering issues, but noticed recently that my JTR was wandering a bit on the highway at speed. My paranoia told me that obviously my steering box was wearing and becoming problematic. I’m getting ready to tow my ‘64 Corvette from Atlanta to NY next weekend and yesterday I was going through everything like fluids, lube, torque spec and tire pressure. My tire pressure was consistently 27psi and I raised it back to 32psi where it originally tested best. On my way back home, all the wandering was gone. She tracks straight as an arrow with no play in the steering.

I know this is obvious, but I post this simple as a reminder.
