I'm Beta testing Clayton front springs for the JTRD bottoming issue. Have 200 miles on them now. The ride is bit firmer. The wifey really didn't notice the difference. Driving on the same roads and speeds where it would bottom. It doesn't now. I'm pleased with the results. The factory shocks still could use more dampening though. Who's knows what Jeep will do with the issue, if anything.
Clayton wanted me to take measurements at the front and rear of the rock rail. It was 16" in the front and 18" at the rear. At the bump stop was 2". After the install. The front was 17" and the rear was 18 1/8". At the bump stop was 3". So the front picked up 1".
The stock springs were 17" in height. The Clayton's are 18" in height.
Pic's of before and after.
