I ordered the desert sand Black Rhino Armory wheels from Extreme Terrain after being told by literally every other vendor they’re on back order for 3-4 weeks. I’m glad XT had some in stock because I’m not a patient man.

However, they were sold out of the lugs I needed. Can someone point me to a set of lugs — preferably black, preferably locking, preferably quick shipping (Amazon Prime) — that will work with these wheels. I have read they need aftermarket lugs, but I don’t have a clue what to look for.

Couldn't wait to finally post on here. Have always liked a car with different color rims. Settled on the Fuel Covert's 17x9.5's +1 Offset on stock 33" BF Goodrich AT's. Thank you to Discount Tire for reaching out to me on here.

I also didn't want the "black" look, so although they are listed as "matte black", the Fuel Beasts have a hint of a brown hue in them and compliment the Gator color very well...

And I LOVE the bronze look, even though we couldn't find a brown MDX (we went with dray grey), this was the look I envisioned for my wife's car (and still may when the new 2021 MDX comes out)...

Yup Mr. Wuf...you've picked the right wheels...but I'm rather biased!

Your Jeep was what pushed me toward those wheels. I was seriously considering a different set of Black Rhinos until I saw yours.

Hey DawgBox,

What winch and plate do you have on the front there, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks!

Haven't seen too many Bronze wheel pics so I thought I'd add a couple. These are 1552's in Block Bronze at 17" w 37's. 1 - 1/2" Daystar leveling kit up front and 3/4" Daystar spacer in the rear. Never been a huge fan of the simulated beadlocks, but I kinda like how they make the wheels look smaller (and yes, I'm still a fan of small wheels)

I was a bit nervous when I ordered these, but I really like them. I still plan on dipping the Jeep emblems bronze to match, just waiting for DYC to ship the dip. 17x8.5 Sparco Dakar Rally

Can someone explain trie sizes to me, for example:

17x9.5's +1 Offset

I get that the Rim is 17x9.5 but what does +1 offset mean and whats a good offsetvs a bad offset?

A 'good' or 'bad' offset is really what you thinks looks good. Most of the wheels you see are like a -12 to -18 offset which means you get more poke (tire sticking out of the fender). A positive offset tucks the wheel into the wheel well more like a stock setup. Also a -12 offset with a 8.5" wide wheel is not the same as -12 offset with a 9" wide wheel....
Check out this link and you can visualize it yourself:
