Black rims deleted with cold weather package?

I ordered a 2022 sport S max tow on 11/19 thru Gumpton. Then got a call about black rims being deleted when they entered the cold weather package.
then when entering in black rims it would delete the cold weather package. They had no explanation so guess I am stuck with silver rims, not the look I wanted.
Anybody got any ideas what is going on with this?

Cold weather has a different tire if I'm not mistaken. Probably what prompts it. You can probably sell your and get a set of take off's ez enough if you want the black.

Sport S wheels with OEM tires should be super cheap. And you can probably sell your silver ones for about the same $$.

I have seen so many weird things like this on option packages that make no sense. You would think the black wheels should be part of the cold weather package as black absorbs heat better.?

The funny thing is this was probably a coding error done by a 20 year old intern. And it affects people in the real world.

I totally agree. Instead of deleting round black tires they deleted round black rims.

Same thing for me. I could not get black rims for my Sport S either. I may have the silver ones powder coated black.

Green scratch pad and black wheel paint is what I did. Too easy, and easy to touch up as well., even my 2nd set of wheels are black now and they looked great with the machined alloy and clear coat. But 3rd summer of trails supported black paint for touch ups. It does suck that most of the time it seems you can only get black in steel wheels, which kinda sucks.

i had the same thing happen to me. but i'm not so sure if it is the cold weather package causing it. i think all 2022 sport s packages come with the fat five spoke silver wheels now. i read an article about it a couple weeks after i ordered. once i saw my build sheet and it confirmed it i ordered back wheels.

But black also emits heat better than silver. Remember, good absorbers are also good emitters!

I ordered a '22 Sport S Max w/ cold weather and my build sheet says gloss black aluminum wheels.
I may get to see this week or next per jeep chat.
