My wife got the white letters turned inside and the black lug nuts installed. That was the last of the chrome/silver/white on the outside. It’s all Sarge Green and Black now.
Here is the link to the lug nuts:

Nice. Doing the same with my hydro blue.

The next things on your list is to paint the brake calipers green. :)

Looks great. Which lug nuts are those? The ones I have are nasty already. Faded and rusting. Can you post link to them?

Are those the Mopar ones? I was looking at the Mopar black lug nuts but they are expensive.

She got them at Summit Racing. I’ll get the link from her and post it later.
Truck looks sharp. Looking forward to the link. Been looking at getting some black lug nuts as well. Thanks.

Hi - new old guy here. Instead of buying the black out emblems, go to Lowe's or HD and buy the spray plasiti-coat stuff. Then tape an area around the emblem and coat it at least 4 times. Overspray on paint will come right off with a microfiber towel. You can google how to do it. Works great and I did this over a year ago and no fading, etc.

I'd be interested if down the road you see any unusual wear patterns on your OEM rims using the aftermarket lug nuts. While they have the same angle (60°) as the OEM lug nuts they have significantly less contact area than the OEM lug nuts.

I converted my trailer over to use OEM JT wheels so they would match and be interchangeable with my Gladiator, but it get very little use, so no indicator for me yet IF they will wear different. I'm guessing Jeep for some reason went to the 'larger' contact area on the JLs and JTs, vs 'normal' for some reason (JK are 'normal') Weight or sideload?? Maybe no big deal, especailly for my trailer at 1/2 the weight of a Gladiator, but if they work fine on a JT, then no worries for my trailer.
