Any update on this issue? I believe I have the same issue. 15,000 miles.

I havenā€™t taken mine to the dealership yet since they said they might need it a week or so. Waiting for a good time in my schedule

No, no update. I want to be able to reproduce it if at all possible. I may just take it in like others have stated and get it on the books.

General rule of thumb.

white smoke - water/coolant
blue smoke - oil
black smoke - gas from excessively rich A:F ratio

Good luck, dealer will not do anything, no codes or other drivability issue they wonā€™t care.

Werenā€™t some dealers overfilling motor oil during scheduled maintenance?

I haven't seen this on my Gladiator, but the 3.6 in my 2012 Challenger and my 2015 JK did this occasionally. No real pattern I could establish and neither really used any oil. The smell was more of unburnt fuel than oil, though it sure seemed like gray smoke. I'd notice when I'd start the car and occasionally back through a cloud of smoke.

This is the problem.
What is the problem? Melting ice caps? Barking dogs? Deer eating your flowers?

As far as solutions, since the cause could be any one of several things, the resolution can be any one or more of several things.

That's a zip file of a shortcut to something - does nothing.

How about you just explain it, say what it is.

Sketchy.....
Based on post history - I'm not sure he knows what's going on.
Back in July he went to the dealer and asked for a new engine. Wish it was that easy!
Aircraft mechanic but doesn't realize blue smoke can be anything from a PCV issue to valve seals to a busted ring........... and the list goes on, and he waited to do his very first oil change at over 9,000 miles.
Don't ask for a new engine for a PCV issue. If I was the service writer - I'd have had to hide my chuckle/laugh.

The post was a zip file of a shortcut..........maybe trying to post a video?
Looks like it's been going on for months, since April?

Confused - what's it doing, exactly when and when is it NOT doing it is just as important.
And if oil consumption is suspected, then keep close track on the dipstick - has anyone had to add oil?

Zipfiles, with links in them are common ways to spread infections/viruses. By including the link to the infected location, instead of in the zipfile itself, it'll actually bypass some AV vendors initial scans. Good AV products will actually recognize the link, and probe it, upon extraction of the zip, however.

No way I'd open that file, and I'd recommend an admin to delete the post.
