Found a boost leak doing an oil change. Was putting oil back in the engine and noticed the one charge pipe had dirt/soot right at the end of the hose. Put a ratchet and socket on the hose clamp. It turned 7 times before the clamp got tight. So here's a heads up for everyone to check their's.

Mine sweat a little bit at that spring clip connection. I recently added an oil catch can in hopes to catch some of the blow by. Planning on recheching my map sensor and egr tube in 10k miles to see any changes.

Good catch. Seven turns on the clamp is pretty wild. Definitely worth giving those charge pipe clamps a quick check, especially if you’re seeing any oil residue, dirt or soot around the connections. Could save someone from chasing a boost issue later.

Mine also had the rubber elbow at the intake manifold poke a hole and leak.
Went to AFE charge pipes. Ive also had to replace the O rings twice on those hard slip with snap ring bmw type connections.

Hey guys. Looks like I'm in the same boat. My double lip o-ring folded over coming off the turbo and has been leaking everywhere. All crappy looking just like yours Rusty. But also, when I had the timing cover leak repaired, it looks like the tech maybe over tightened the silicone hose connection on the cold pipe going to the intake. It's split open and leaking all behind my drivers headlight. I priced everything out and the hot pipe alone is 600 Canadian. And the cold pipe is backordered. So I guess I'll be ordering the afe pipes. No downsides to that I assume? Other than cost for no performance gain, but I have to buy them anyway.
